What is the latest you could neuter a female? And... Is it really necessary? She s litter trained lives with a cat freely roaming around the house for the past 4y

We have a Pewee in our yard in southern MD. It perches on a trellis and flies around catching insects in the early evening. We love hearing it sing.

Beautiful! I once had a hawk sit on a branch about ten feet off the ground and about three feet away from me while I took pictures of him. He watched me the whole time and was not one bit bothered by my presence. It was a wonderful experience. Thank you for posting this.

Do you offer totes of slow release liquid nitrogen like the NBN-XB 26-0-0 .5%B that Morral Fertilizer in Ohio blends? Was not sure if that is specific to them or you are a distributor for them.
@themill25364 ай бұрын
Hi - The Mill can blend custom liquid formulations with protected nitrogen and other additives if they are compatible in solution. Email us at [email protected] with your information and location and an agronomist or manager will reach out to you!

Do you offer slow release liquid nitrogen products I could apply myself?
@themill25364 ай бұрын
Yes we do. We have 2 products - HighNrGN for ground application and SRN for foliar application. Please email us at [email protected] with your contact info and location. We can put you in touch with our agronomy manager and email you labels.

@@themill2536 thank you. We had used a foliar 26-0-0 .5%B NBN-XB blended by Morral fertilizer in Ohio - was not sure if you offered the same or blended something similar. Morral blends a number of great liquids. My brother just told me he found another tote at the south farm so it sounds like we have enough to finish this season with what we have. Might be good to compare cost between Morral and your company in November. Not sure if you blend yourself of if you distribute for others. Sometimes the distributor offers better price than manufacturer directly.

When do the red feathers on the males appear? After first molt?
@themill25365 ай бұрын
Male house finches develop their bright red plumage during molting periods when their intake of carotenoids is high. Outside of molting, the red color can fade (orange) if carotenoids get depleted. Interestingly, not all males reach mature plumage in their first year, so there can be considerable color variation from yellow to orange to very bright red. Any time the diet is lacking certain nutrients, the plumage can fade to orange or even very pale yellow. Seeds high in carotenoids are pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, particularly the black oil sunflower.
