Your average person wont even be able to carry the weight for more than 3-5 miles. Pocket shower is not an essential like many of these things. Training is more important than gear. I was homeless for sometime and lived very comfortably with a lot less. YMMV.

I got the Really big one that holds 2 2ltr bottles in it. and it it very well made! it is just all around nice to have on you for instant hold this.

1:05 those expandable bottle pockets (with retention cords) are awesome, for kleen kanteen large bottles. 1:41 My vulture II 3 day pack (34L), has been through the ringer...and the stitching & seems , are still holding after years of abuse. awesome product.

This is so close to being perfect. I'd like an external water bottle pouch and I hate the "I'm the guy with the gun" velcro patch, but that can be cut off.

the perfect backpack for people who want to blend in with the crowd. looks like the materials will last a long time too. only thing I don't like is the quick release on the bag straps, its good having double stitching throughout but whats the point if the tiny quick release buckles fail first? im still going to get one of these bags though, easily the best designed bag for normal folk who want quality over quantity.

Max was my instructor in the TEES course in Brazil in 1999 an amazing and competent instructor.

I picked one of these up when on sale. I LOVE IT. I was concerned reading some of the keyboard kommandos comments on ar15.com and was concerned. This is a well made bag and works great for my gym gear. Do you need better straps if you are going to hump 30km to assault a position? Yep. This is just a book bag. Some of my students would overload their packs and destroy them in 6 months. Don't see it happening with this pack. It will work a lifetime for my gym and edc travel needs I've finally got a good pack for concealed carry!

I just got the Maxpedition Prepared Citizen Classic 2.0 in the dark blue color. What I did was I cut off the patch/logo from an actual Jansport backpack. Then I crazy glued velcro to the back of the Jansport patch/logo. So then I just attached the Jansport moral patch I made to the velcro attachment panel on the Prepared Citizen Classic 2.0. The Jansport moral patch I made completely covers the velcro attachment panel on the Prepared Citizen Classic 2.0 so the bag now looks identical to an actual Jansport backpack!!! It's the most low key "gray man" tactical bag ever!!!
