I dont fully agree that it is only simply a matter of 'power of intention' or just seeing everything as 'friendly' keeps us safe and harm free from danger, hostility, evil etc. This doesn't feel correct for many (particularly those in third-world countries, war zones etc). Im sure if it was the case there would msny able to manifest their way out of poverty, danger, genocide etc. I still believe environment and circustances do impact us and understandably cause fear (justifiable) and necessary fear (survival). I wish i could believe this fully, maybe its easier for the Western world to think this way. Friendly, in some places, simply doesn't exist and it has nothing to do with with what a friendly, fear-free person manifests. I wish. Its eorth trying though. Big thank you.

Going through a difficult time. Tried reconnecting with a therapist who I paid well, in cash, for a year. Because of the difficult situation, I asked if there was a sliding scale. She wanted nothing to do with me except to refer me out. I don't have the strength to explain my whole history again, or the trauma, or the abuse. Now I also feel a mixture of hurt and distrust, like I will say this on this video comments but probably not aloud. It's of course logical that the therapist is earning a living, not conducting philanthropy, but she also knows my history, my situation, and that married as I am that there are points that are no joke damaging. I feel very much rejected. I tell myself that she must not be the great therapist I thought her to be if she would throw away a well paid year of counseling and diligent cash payments only because I am asking to pay, but slightly less because on my end, a very controlling spouse has found ways to manipulate me financially. I have 2 health insurances, both that have good coverage. She will not accept either - just pushes me away. It all makes my heart and head hurt. Worse than anything, I feel very small. Thank you for the very helpful podcast.

Did you try vitamin D? If you feel better from a one time dose on 50.000IU's after a few days, thats it. I was on antidepressants for 20 years without any effect but vitamin D helped.

Your dog is lovely. Animals can be the best healers in many ways. Thank you for the suggestions. It's tiring and hard work though bringing back things you would rather forget. Resurrecting feelings that make you feel down. Especially when you were raised in a time when feelings were not 'encouraged'.
