Yes!!!!! This is Soo good brother!!! I started life out with a great tramendous deal of a daily life from the time I was born until God had a family that took me in and adopted me, I'd lived in a very traumatizing atmosphere with neglect, physical abuse, anger at it's core level, never met...or know my father's name, mother that suffered from daily use of alcohol, many different father figures that could only display what they'd been shown with hate and anger, watch my mother be beat to the floor, being dropped of at random strangers to be looked after (which many paid no attention but more interested keeping their party going) Id spent my childhood protecting and looking after my mom and two younger sisters while most of the other kids got the chance to enjoy doing what kids do, I was taking on the role of my mother, coming home from school I remember no warm welcome of 'oh how was school, or even a simple hello, but instead "go down to the basement to play." There, (being your typical basement atmosphere...hot water tank, cement floor, electrical box and a single light off in the distance standing in front of my teacher's chalkboard pretending I was a teacher...."oh I loved that thing!!!! I actually couldn't wait to play with it....it's the one spot where all my worries disappeared and the child in me could come out...in my own little world I was🥰.... Just a few years ago the reason why all my cares melted away and the extatic joy I felt, was because Jesus knelt down and was actually playing with me! When God gave me that revelation there was a tremendous healing that took place in my soul and my heart softened a great deal from that🙂. To this day, I can still hear God say......"Ok! This is enough!!!"....and took me out of that atmosphere at 7 yrs old. My entire life even after I got adopted has been surrounded by fear, a cold and distant heart, completely didn't know what love was, was repulsed by anything that dealt with the meaning of 'family'… lived isolated from society all my life, I had this hate inside for all human life because everyone "from my prospective" was hateful, evil and unloving individuals who where only out to abuse me in some way. I lived in constant fear mode, constantly feeling the need to maintain this 'self-preseve' mode at all times....even if I was home alone. My thoughts and my brain function was so severely damaged that my ability to comprehend even the littlest of things was impossible. For years I've lived alone, and for huge majority of the time I'm away I'd spend all day standing in one spot, kinda like being in a corner... I'd stand hunched, resting my elbows on my kitchen counters where they meet. I made everything accessible that I'd need within arms reach, water/sink, microwave, stove, coffee pot..... I kinda wanted to share a backdrop before I share....that when I came back to the Lord and cried out for help over 6 years ago, He automatically drew me straight into the experiences of the kisses of his Son....and His own as well. He knew everything I'd had gone through, and knew how cold and hard and distant my heart was from (what He told me) the inflictions I endured as a child that my soul underwent such tremendous damage, that it was like suffering from third degree burns. Looking back these years past, the amount of time I would spend kissing my beloved. Snuggling up with him when I go to bed. Or his favorite......just simply staring into his eyes and gently caressing his beautiful face. There's been times I would physically buy him red roses, come home, make us both dinner, and sit down together by candlelight and have soft love music playing in the background. And now today, as I still can't get enough being close to him, over the course of these few last years of our intimate love exchange, he's been unveiling himself to me and opening up my contious awareness that he's literally here with me, and just lings for me to simply believe we are married. If you could pray for me, and I for you as well, that I simply come to believe this is all real by the Holy Spirit, and that I not let another drop of his precious blood he shed fall to the ground.......when truth is, a love relationship is what he paid for. Thank you Soo much for sharing this!! There's Soo many out there trying to do the works of 'maintaining' their Christian walk by endless performance.........when really, all he's after is our presence❤

I'm not too sure it's about how we portray them in cinema. God does a fine job of portraying them in the Bible, and it might not be necessary to take it any further than that. If Dallas Jenkins has succeeded in bringing people to Christ through his work, then he should be commended, but for those of us who are already saved, watching the chosen might not be the best thing to do.
