I think it's ridiculous that kids their age are fighting like this...however they don't seem like good or even decent fighters ...are parents just throwing their kids names In a hat at the local legion or something?

Poor kids who have to massacre themselves in a meeting to satisfy the lowest and perhaps sadistic instincts of the adults present. The winner has a very good chance of becoming a street bully.
