Hi, thank you sooooo much for the video. Just here to thank you and confirm that the method still works! I got a boot loop on my 11PM due to low storage. 1&2 did not work. Waited for 2 days with multiple times of hard reboot and battery running out. Went for the 4th step with 3UTools easy flash to IOS 16.2 (from 15.2). I TURNED OFF THE FIREWALL BEFORE FLASHING. It worked so smoothly to 100% right at the first time! Waited a while (be patient since the first 15 mins the phone still stuck on the black screen, then to white with "attempt to recover", then straight to the setup). Also just a note: Don't rely on the Storage in the setting!!! You usually have about 40-60% less than what it tells you. Check the storage with 3rd party app (for example: AIDA64). For example, the Setting told me I had 200MB of free space left, but AIDA64 reported on a 16MB of free space! Then, the nightmare came. Anyways, thanks again for your instructions, and wish luck to whoever have to go through this sh*t!

Hi Kirill, I m back to this video after two years. I faced the problem of apple logo boot loop, but after flashing with 3u tools, my iphone 6s stuck on loading screen, it seems going to the end of loading bar(like 1% to almost complete) then it stopped forever at that point, the phone will get started again after charging, but the screen remained the same in loading stage. The technician told me there is no way other than restore it to factory setting, but i still hold a little hope, wish to ask your advice is there any other way to save my phone without erase the data inside?
@gopalola
@gopalola Жыл бұрын
Unless technician disassembled your phone and said something like "look, the memory NAND chip inside of your phone is fried", he cannot say for sure if the data can be saved or not. If there is no hardware defects, nobody can tell you with the full confidence if the phone can or cannot boot with the data recovered. Try to find another specialist, with a focus on data recovery. Have you tried flashing in the DFU mode already?

Solved (iPhone XS, step 2). Wanted to share my story in case it’s helpful for others. Had full storage issues for a long time, and hadn’t yet updated to the new iOS. A couple days back the phone just reset itself and got stuck in a boot loop which it wouldn’t get out of. Very sentimentally important photos hadn’t yet synced to iCloud so was important to retrieve. Spoke to Genius Bar and they were pessimistic - I only had an incredibly small amount of storage left, so iOS update seemed unlikely to work. Using these recommendations I tried attempts at iOS update in recovery mode probably about 4 times and it worked on the final try - though not obviously at first! Try 1 failed and I got an ‘error 6’. Try 2 failed to show any progress on my phone. Try 3 I got a note saying the update was installed but my phone stuck in boot loop. Tried again and the laptop told me I would need to recover, but still gave option of updating. Did that again and same issue as before - stuck in boot loop after saying it was successful. Decided to stop there and put my phone back in regular charger without expectations. To my surprise a couple minutes later the phone turned white with a ‘swipe up to recover’. After completing this, the update worked and my phone was back - all the important photos there!

I’m nervous to try DFU because during every flash I’ve done so far my phone “disconnects” and “reconnects” for some reason and although is has no effect on the download, I’m worried I will lose my data if it does this during a dpu flash. I have a question, aren’t the newer versions of iOS even bigger then the older ones? Then why should we update it to the latest one, and not to an older smaller version of iOS? And thanks for the amazing video. 👍🏻
@gopalola
@gopalola 2 жыл бұрын
You cannot downgrade the version, so you can update to the current one or newer. Current one did not work for me, so I started trying newer ones, and one of newest worked for me. I think it is not only about the size itself, but about the flashing process. I believe that newer version of firmware can have some previous flashing bugs solved. Maybe that's why a lot of people had success with one of the new betas, despite it was larger size than the previous FWs.

I've already tried three diffrent version (15.0beta8, 15.0beta7, 14.7.1), used the original apple cable and two diffrent anker power line MFi cables, changing USB ports, but still got the same error code. Nr. 3 worked for me!!! My iphone 8 storage was full (63 of 64 gb), full icloud (5gb), no backup, so I wanted to download my pictures to my laptop (Windows 10). I connected the iphone with iTunes (newest version) and wanted to do a backup, but it didn‘t work, it said sth like ”backup is not possible, not enough storage“ and while trying to download the pictures directly from the folders, the connection interrupted a few times, everything was so slow… So I made the BIG mistake and turned my iphone off, cause I thought maybe after a new start it would run faster… wrong, iphone got stuck in the BOOTLOOP (didn‘t even know what a bootloop was till I googled the problem). I freaked out, because of the possible data loss (pictures!). The forced restart (pressing each sound button and then the right button) didn‘t help, I pressed it at least 30 times (1 day in bootloop). After hours of googling, watching youtube videos etc. I decided, despite the fear of loosing all data, to try the update in iTunes. I connected the iphone with an original cable to my laptop. Forcing the restart, but pressing the right button very long led to the recharge mode and iTunes recognized the iphone saying it needs a recovery. I pressed the update and iTunes started with downloading the newest software (took a while till i saw the bar). After downloading and checking the software, iTunes wanted to install it on the iphone. On the iphone the symbol changed from the cable device to the apple with the bar. But, as feared, the update stoped at around 20-30%, saying “error 14, iphone has to be restored“ I ignored this (always press x!!) and started over again. Sometimes the connection stoped already before starting the update. I started again and again, at least 10 times, 3 times the update started, but couldn‘t finish. Try again, never click the restore button, even when iTunes says it‘s the only way!! I saw a youtube video, where the error 14 is explained and it is said that heat would help. Nothing to loose, i tried it…while starting a new update attempt (bar was at about 20%), I positioned my iphone under my very warm laptop. After maybe 2 minutes there popped up a window on iTunes for like 5 sec, I couldn‘t read it, I thought “oh no it’s over”, took my phone and there was the apple symbol again. Thought I‘m still in the bootloop, wanted to restart again, but noticed I could press the homebutton!! The update was completed! My iphone window turned white and asked me 2 times for my code. I had to say ok to restore and then it started with „restoring the data“!!! This took a while, 2 times running the bar and then my iphone started, after typing the code again! Everything was there, no data loss! It started to slowly count back the pictures and after 1 hour all pictures/folders were back. Never thought it would work! Don’t know if the warmth helped while loading the update. I hope my experience maybe helps someone… good luck!

Hi, I have this problem with an Iphone 7+, what do I do if I don't know what verision of IOS the device has? Just go for the latest? And how is that I can update my firmware even since mt phones storage if full? Won't the update overwrite files to make room then?

I recommend trying the steps, as they appear in the video. Because first steps are easier and faster to do, and harder to mess up. It can work (or not work) for all the kinda recent iOS versions, so knowing the exact version of iOS is not that important. The update itself won't overwrite your user files, however it may cause the files to be corrupt and not recoverable if something goes wrong during the process.

I solved it thanks to you. I would've only lost 2 weeks of data, but I didn't want to. So I took my time and did my research. I found Oksana's Instagram account (@iphonelogoloop). She guided me to you with her post, and you recommended either iTunes or 3uTools. iTunes never seemed to respond even though I pressed the button. So I decided I would go with 3uTools. iTunes flash was the solution for me. One important piece of advice I can give is to keep your iTunes window on-screen and close any iTunes alert tab every time it pops up. I couldn't stop my iPhone from getting out of Recovery Mode when I chose "Close iTunes." I thought it would prevent an interference. No, it does not. That's a useless feature that interferes with the flash process. It's also worth mentioning that I updated my drivers in the toolbox, and enabled auto-activation. There were no errors, and I have no lost files. Also, bootleg cables work just fine. So you don't have to go out of your way to get one or get an extra useless cable when you have a USB-C fast charger. Just don't touch near the USB port.

Hi, I would recommend watching a few tutorials how to enter the recovery mode on your model. Also make sure that iTunes is running and updated. If for some reason recovery mode is still impossible to enter, try to enter the DFU mode (step 5). It is much trickier to enter than recovery but should work in almost all the cases.

Hi guys, I just want to share my experience when I had my screen stuck on apple logo 5 days ago. I got this solution after scouring on a lot of tutorials and comments on many videos (including this video, thank you!), trying this and that. My iPhone 8 64GB, suddenly stuck on boot loop apple logo when on charge, it's probably because of full storage (only left about 1GB-ish if i recalled correctly). Got reasonably panicked, because free iCloud is only 5GB and I never sync any data except contacts and notes, already haunted by the idea of losing so much data because there's a possibility that it should be restored, just like prior experience with my iPhone 4S few years ago. Because I know how miserable it was to lose our precious data, I will share with you the solution that works for me: 1. On my Mac, open & login iCloud via web, I use another cellphone to activate my SIM Card to receive OTP via SMS which you need to login. Back up data and delete data on it. 2. Plug your iPhone using original cable to iTunes on your computer. Make sure it's the latest update version of iTunes. 3. Turn on recovery mode on iPhone -> press & release volume up + press and release volume down + press and hold side button until cable + laptop icon appear. 4. After it is detected on iTunes, choose update. 5. iTunes will download iPhone iOS (iOS14 in my case), after finished downloading, press install. 6. After finished installing, a white screen with an instruction "press home to recover" will appear, don't worry, it will try to recover the data not restore your iPhone. Press the home button and you will be asked your phone password. 7. Just wait until you got to the home screen. 8. After that, via iTunes, iPhone will automatically restoring your data (wow magic happened). I saw the numbers of the photos in album increasing slowly but sure. 9. While iPhone syncing, I deleted photos/videos & apps that took a lot of storage. 10. After 4 steps sync on iTunes, my iPhone is back to normal with latest iOS. Some of commenters said to try this method a few times if it didn't work the first time, keep choosing update until your phone is back on, do not choose restore if you want your data to be saved. In my case, alhamdulillah, it worked in my first try. Basically after I did a research, 3rd party softwares such as re*boot, 3ut*ols, uni*tool, it*olab and many other are just similar with iTunes. The only difference is the naming of the actions: update > standard repair/standard mode & restore > deep repair/advanced mode. And you have to pay to actually use the feature that you need. I actually almost used these kinds of apps, I thought it's okay to spend couple dollars to save my data. But the problem is, there is no guarantee that our data is safe. Well, some of them offers refund but it's a painful and long awaiting process. Sooo, before you try and purchase those any softwares, try iTunes first, guys. Don't panic and just pray a lot. When you got your phone back to normal state, it is better to subscribe for more iCloud storage or back up your data routinely (leave a minimum of 5GB free space), so you won't be stressed if this happened again. I hope this helps and you can get your iPhone back on :)

Unfortunately your data is unaccessible until you boot your phone in the "normal" mode. So your only option is to try to flash it in a way, so it boots up normally. You can wait for the newer firmware versions or the new methods, if you are willing to "freeze" your phone for a while.

I followed your steps the other day and it worked!! I'm still in disbelief. My iPhone X entered the boot loop (due to low storage) in January because there was only 200mb left. I did step 4 on a PC which worked after flashing my iPhone X four times: firstly Easy Flash two times, then iTunes Flash twice, where the first time it failed, then the second time it reached 100%. Same as a lot of other people, my phone froze on the progress bar and I had to force restart it. I left my phone for ten minutes and after that it prompted me twice for my password and then showed "attempting data recovery". At this point I was soo anxious. But it worked!! And it came back on! Thank you so much for uploading this. Never listen to the guys in the Apple store. They tell you only what they are trained to tell, to make a larger bill, and not actually solve the problem. Better go to some reputable repair shop with good reviews. But I think in almost all the cases this issue has nothing to do with the hardware.

I don’t even get the error messages anymore. It successfully flashes on 3U tools and updates on iTunes but all it does is boot loop once completed. Very frustrating.. I’ve tried all the versions that are available in easy flash and DFU.

@@lollllllllll-q7u No I tried the easy flash, DFU and also through iTunes many times. None of them worked unfortunately. I will try again when I have the time but if it still doesn’t work I’ll have to accept the fact that it needs to factory reset. It sucks because I have 5 years worth of data on there.

EVERYONE!!!! who was scattering video to video comment to comment looking for a solution but couldnt find the answer like myself, I figured it out on my end.. Basically filled my phone to the point of it popping up the apple logo and it ruined my whole week with work and stuff. Never felt so lost lmao but I tried all these programs and itunes and no luck. My phone wouldnt connect to the computer in DFU mode or with the frozen logo and only connected in recovery but Recovery mode kept turning off randomly after 15 minutes and itunes refused to update. I tried dr fone and that other one that starts with R and the options were so limited and unhelpful. I used that 3utools and turned my phone from frozen apple logo to recovery mode and clicked that flash option, then i clicked the save data box at the bottum and clicked quick flash and selected the beta version update (was 15.3 beta or something) at top. it installed 20% then failed so i went back to itunes and updated again and it did the whole update no issue. then a white screen popped up on my phone saying swipe up to recover data. Now it works and il NEVER EVER have my phone go below less then 5G of space. Hopes this helps you guys i was getting really fed up with these lazy answers with little to no detail and without a response or those people saying message instagram guys which seemed like a huge scam like half these programs... but Cheers!!

Okay so on my very first attempt I tried easy flash then it got stuck on 38% and the error was "unable to restore idevice -2" on my second attempt using easy flash again I got to 60% and then somehow my phone died during the process showing the battery logo and the error I got was -1101. Do you think my phone dying during the process maybe affected my data :( please respond
@gopalola

Maybe your phone was low battery and it is not enough power on the USB port of your computer to charge it. Try to charge it with usual charger for a few hours (or the time you usually spend to get 80% of battery) and try again.

please help I've tried easy and iTunes flash about 22 times and I'm stuck at 60% with error 1101 how many attempts did you try with step 4? and also when you put your phone in dfu mode would it be able to back to recovery mode? and also did step 5 work the first time? please respond
@gopalola
@gopalola 3 жыл бұрын
First time when I had this problem, step 4 did not work for me after ~5-10 different tries. When I tried step 5, it was from the first try. However, when I had the problem a few months later again, step 4 worked for me from the first try. So there is no guaranteed amount of tries for success in any method, and it is highly individual. After entering the DFU, you usually can exit it with hard reboot combination, so yes.

I can only say, that the pro flash in DFU mode worked for me, when nothing else did. If it's not going to work, you can try pro and easy flash in 3uTools with new yet unreleased firmwares or wait for some other solution. But it's really very individual, no one can tell if it's going to work or not, until you try it.
