You need to react to Flo, they are the future of rnb. They're already iconic. Stella Jorja and Renée, like the blend, the voices, the harmonies, the energy of early 2000's pop/rnb. Litteraly Destiny 'child 2.o

Shes trying to roll out a new trend, thats what shes trying to do. Shes split her project in 3 parts because music is easily processed and thrown out. So she is taking a different marketing approach with her art. I think its actually quite unique and lit.

It's perfection actually! Both artists worked on the song but Bruno started it and Gaga threw in some of her chords in the piano, so there, an epic song from these epic singers!

Quantum mechanics are a physics field in which scientists try to understand how a particle can have simultaneously the characteristics of a particle and a wave. So tinashe went for this title, bc she wanted to express the conflicting thoughts/desires and the duality in general of each and every person, while also taking a closer look at her on a granular (particle) level. The drones on the nasty video are a visual signifier of someone in the public eye being constantly watched and scrutinized by the general p. Great video btw❤️
@_aaronronАй бұрын
no broke boys was also produced by ricky reed, same as nasty. it’s def possible she added nbb after the success of nasty. i agree that it’s her most commercial sounding song (and not a true reflection of her artistry). she straddles the line between both. nbb is fun, but i wish the gp had more depth to allow her other songs to be singles
@jaaccoobАй бұрын
yes - it’s a trilogy of shorter projects. Tinashe says she wanted fans to be able to digest the music in smaller doses to appreciate it. In longer 18+ projects you have “deeper cuts” or a songs that get lost in the flow of the album. Hearing it this ways gives us a chance to give each track to attention it deserves!

Bruno started making this and I guess Lady Gaga was in the same studio finishing her album, so he invited her to help finish up this song. Given that, I believe it is more of a Bruno song with Lady Gaga's influence in it, that's why Bruno is taking more of a lead in this song too. I do put them on the same league vocally wise as Bruno can belt and hit those high notes while Gaga is trained vocalist that can transition from genre to genre with ease. To add to your closing statement, Gaga, Bruno, Beyonce and Adele are really on a different level because they create music, not just the next disposable hit that will trend on tiktok. I know there are a lot of artist that do that too, but these 4 are the most prominent for me.

Anything that Bruno touches turns into gold. I think he, aside from Adele, is one of the few artist who has minimal to no haters. He may not be the biggest out there but he sure is part of almost everybody's playlist. Gaga is a musical genius, too. A classically-trained multi-instrumentalist and vocal chameleon who is known for seamlessly gliding from one genre to another so effortlessly. Both legends, honestly.

I think when Normani decided that she didn’t want to keep making songs like “Motivation” her label stopped investing in her. It’s unfortunate for her career. Overall, I think this is a solid project even though it took me a few listens to appreciate beyond several songs. It would be better if it were more experimental and if there was less cliche lyricism. And yes, you kinda have to be into “bad bytch” music to fully get into the project. But it’s still solid. All Yours, Tantrums, Still, Insomnia are probably my favorite tracks (and Wild Side I guess, but that feels more like a bonus track to help the numbers).

My first listen I found it underwhelming but after stepping back from the thought of what I thought normani was going to sound like. my second listen was way more enjoyable enjoyable and I love the album it’s a Story work of art now she just needs the push and she can lead the whole the early 2000s rnb sound renaissance like dua and The Weeknd did with the disco pop sound.
