Wonderful, Leonard. By the way, isn't it twice as fast as it should? 🤣🤣🤣
@leonardschick525712 күн бұрын
Than you. I played it that fast 1,5 years ago. Now I think I would definitely play it slower.

@leonardschick5257 Well, I just tried to make a joke 😅 You're right, you're performance is on the faster side, but I actually liked the tempo.

That is an awesome organ, any idea when it was built? It looks like mid 1700s
@leonardschick5257Ай бұрын
Good guess, but unfortunately it's not mid 1700s. The organ was built in 1986 following the style of Arp Schnitger. For some reason the manuals look rather like mid 1700s manuals made by Albertus Antonie Hinsz in the Netherlands. This organ is a Felsberg organ in Lausanne St-Paul, Switzerland. It's a very good instrument.

Very good! There is a strong feeling of Handel in the first two movements of this beautifully written Trio Sonata, whereas J.S. Bach suddenly comes to mind in the 3rd and 4th movement. 😀

Leonard, I have a question. Can converter accordion players participate in your improvisation lessons or do they get stuck? Accordionists cannot see what they are playing. What do you think?
@leonardschick52575 ай бұрын
I don't know. But in any case I think that those who use scores all the time don't really learn to improvise. It's also not good to watch at the fingers all the time. Maybe it works on the accordion as well?

Well spotted! The quinte superflue is always good to have in the toolbox. It's especially useful on harsh tempered instruments where it's much better than diminished chords.
