Dear Adam, this is an exceptional animation on transducer manipulation. Would you allow me to use a portion of your creation for a hands-on workshop on POCUS and echocardiography? Your name will be credited and acknowledged. Thank you

The bike is solid and my Ebike conversion went great. kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Very smooth ride at 30mph with no problems (135 miles ridden so far). The picture is a bit deceiving - there is WAY less space in the center of the frame than it shows. The suspension connection takes up the entire thing. So I needed to attach my battery on the bottom of the frame and my controller on the top. Instructions for assembly were lacking but honestly it wasn't too hard to figure out even though I have very little bike knowledge. Watched some youtube videos on adjusting the disk brakes but that was it. Still, I am loving it and very happy with the purchase.

Fantastic video! As a Primary Car Physician just getting my feet wet with point of care ultrasonography, this tutorial places very clear images in my mind when I am moving the transducer . Probably one of the best tips was being sure you are actually seeing the tip of the needle and not the cut off of visibility. I makes so much sense with your graphics and explanation. Thank you

Sometimes if thd assembly ia advanced too far and then withdrawn, a haematoma develops rapidly. How can one avoid this? Is there any tip for this? Thanks for an excellent demonstration
@abc118684 жыл бұрын
if the leading edge of the needle or catheter is withdrawn all the way out of the artery, you get a hematoma. Sometimes it is hard to avoid! sometimes the catheter or needle are occluded with a clot or a tissue plug and you don’t see flow when you should. I use Arrow kits with wires these days and many times I have had a “dry” stick that was actually in the lumen. Ultrasound is really helpful for see this!

Thank you! It really is that easy if you follow along. Was struggling getting the last bit of tire bead over the rim, squeezed the other side and it popped right in. Cheers!

i feel more comfortable holding the probe longitudinally . helps me visualize the entire length of the artery and the catheter

I just had this done for ankle surgery. They didn't tell me how they were going to do it so I was disappointed. Basically, they started anesthesia that almost put me to sleep and then I felt a pinch and some nerve pain that stop quickly. I then woke back up prior to receiving general anesthesia for my surgery. The nerve block worked for about 32 hours for me. It was great to keep the pain down after my surgery.

I just had that surgery yesterday and I had a nerve block and it only lasted me 24 hours right now I would give my left foot to get another nerve block the pain is so severe pain and my pain medicine is not taking the pain away oxycodone with acetaminophen 10/325 and it is not strong enough to touch this kind of pain and do to Covid they would not keep me in the hospital they had to save the beds for the Covid patients so they sent me home the same day I had surgery I broke my ankle on all three sides

Chevis Splawn i had mine today and i got this exact nerve block done i broke my ankle and foot, the whole process was super simple and believe it or not the most painful part was that iv everything else from there is super easy and you probably won’t remember much after the nerve block. i still have little dots on my leg from the injection site but they don’t hurt it’s almost as if a mosquito bit me and i scratched it or something although my leg is still numb about 8 hours later, but good luck and i will answer any questions if you have any
