Bro, you have told the story outline but not explained the core part of movie that creates the viewer a question 'why'. What I understood from the movie is: Prof. Brand (old man) forms and solves an equation regarding the problems of gravity if human being leaves earth which was plan A made by him. But plan A practically didn't exist and the solution got by him was the only half part of exact solution because he had to make few assumptions in the beginning of equation because the data that he would require to make correct equation is in the black hole. But prof. Brand couldn't tell people directly that there are no hopes for next generation to servive. So he makes two plans, plan A and B. The plan B is the only plan to carry on human race further. So NASA sends 12 explorer teams through the warm hole which was created by 'them' to search the suitable planet where human can sustain, by seting up camps. Earth recives three positive responses from space explorers where human can survive and live. First planet was not suitable where abundant water was present. And water can create and sustain life easily. But due to gravitaional effect of the nearer black hole huge waves were forming on that planet and that thing was not known to the woman explorer who found that planet. And she dies due to wave. Then they moves forward to second planet from where positive signs were recived. But there also life was not able to sustain due to presence of huge amount of amonia in air. But the information was wrongly sent to earth by that explorer because he wanted to live and hoping that somebody would come and save him. After that the hero goes into the blackhole since they had no much resources left for two people. When hero goes into the blackhole he gets communication with the robot which was gone into blackhole before him. The robot gathers all data and tells to hero. The whole setup was made by the human beings from the future, to whom the word 'they' have used, that they put the exact time patch where he can communicate with his daughter by using gravity since even if dimensions gets changed , the gravity remains same. So he transfers the data given by robot in the binary form to his daughter. Murphy solves equation and forms a space stations, one of which is shown in movie, cooper station named after murphy. One question left infront of me is how does he gets out pf the black hole!? May be his work is over so 'they' would have designed that system such that after his work is over he could get out of the black hole because in the movie it is shown that the thing reprenting time dimension gets vanished, which is shown in movie like merging, after his work is over. It is shown in movie that hero again travels light years back and he comes back through the warm hole. The warm hole made by future man kind was near saturn so rangers finds him near saturn. And then he is carried to cooper station. Where murphy tells him to go and find Dr. Brand who was in faar away galaxy seting up new camp.
