the fountain in place Masséna in the sixties seventies every once in a while some idiots would throw a pack of laundry detergent that would transform the fountain into a gigantic cloud of soap foam LOL thanks for sharing : )

Monastir is lovely. But Mahdia, Sousse, Hammamet, Tabarka, Jerba are as charming as Monastir.

The secret behind using these colors is that blue repels insects and white cools. In the past, these colors were present in all Tunisian cities, but today they use other colors to decorate their homes.

@@aminem4810 First of all, we are talking about the use of colors, not the founding of the city. Sidi Bou Said is a city that has existed since the time of Carthage. Second, don't talk to me about Chefchaouen. It was painted blue after 2011. So it's funny to compare Sidi Bou Said, ranked third in the world as the most beautiful village, to the newly established Chefchaouen. Please don't make me laugh again.
