Hey Martyn. This is Hieu from Black Lotus Coffee House. I left Danang without saying good bye to you and Masha and it's been bothering me ever since. I gotta to tell you I'm so happy to see this channel and so happy to see you starting a new project. Expats who are considering opening business in Vietnam need more authentic, long-form video content like this because there's so much mystery around running a business in Vietnam, not to mention running one as a foreigner. Hopefully this channel will shed some light into it and make things a little more transparent. Subscribed!

Hieu, it is good to hear from you man! Tim told us you went to Hanoi :) I really like that you saw this vid and thank you for your words, friend! I’ve just started this channel recently - it is on the nomad lifestyle but I want to also record interviews with nomads and expats who are doing something in the countries they are in :)

¡Gracias, Martyn!

It would be interesting to hear your feedback on Thai healthcare and how it compares to other Southeast Asian countries if you ever visit Thailand.
@nomadulitkaАй бұрын
I've been to Thailand lots of times and am planning to move to Chiang Mai in the near future - I'm highly curious myself on what healthcare is like there. When I do get there next year, I'll definitely make a video on that, stay tuned! :)

Workations are indeed the best! I always feel more productive during such trips. As for adopting a nomadic lifestyle, it’s tough to start, but I think it’s worth a try to be like water in this ever-changing world.🙃

Oh, I agree wholeheartedly, I think putting your mind in new environments keeps it active, hence the productivity. But as far as the nomad lifestyle goes - well put!

0:22 no not at all.. sounds stressful to not have my own space that is mine alone. to always be on the go, never get to settle down and properly relax. continuously having to use laundromats and not having a proper kitchen with proper caserolls and ironskillets. my own bed? nah mate. this sounds like a horror show imo. thanks for the warning though :)
@nomadulitka5 ай бұрын
Well, you never have to go to a laundromat if you look for places with a washing machine (which is rarely ever a problem nowadays). But I guess it depends on priorities - I don’t really want to be tied to a place having to deal with bills, insurance, maintenance, etc. So to me the horror show is exactly the opposite :)
