It was an interesting idea to create aliens with the figure and behaviour of innocent children. Didn't saw it in other science fiction movies so far.

i have a suspicion this scene was real. You can see a brief appearance (maybe not here) of dr Alan Hynek who was in charge or project blue book- governments secret project to study ufo sightings. A bit wierd to cast him here right? The USA people in red that are trained to go in is like project (will add name later) that is very likely faked but maybe not where military were trained to join a civilization they made contact with

Todavía recuerdo cuando la fui a ver al Cine, acá en Santiago de Chile. Esto fue por allá por el año 1979. Cuando terminó la película, los espectadores la aplaudimos de pié... De las películas de ciencia ficción, ésta aún sigue siendo mi preferida.

THIS movie was based on a TRUE event that occurred sometime in the 70s. It is one of the founding events in the history of human/alien relations. Though some researchers have claimed that some of this movie was also based on Project Serpo, where for 10 years, humans visited the planet Zeta Recticuli to learn about the culture and lifestyle of The Greys. I find it interesting thar such an event would happen as it opens the doors to new possibilities.

Yeah that never happened. There are no aliens, nine, nada, zip. The movie makes no real sense.
