I think in the midst of all the current tech in plugins and software, the raw, almost basic (by today's standards) sounds in tracks like this, that's the real diamonds in the ruff. I feel like modern bass sound design is overproduced, to point of sounding like, well, wet farts. Would this be considered retro now? It's great, makes me wanna make some noise with my anologue synths!
