One of the things I like most about your reactions is your down-to-earth desire to just share good stuff. But most of all, I really like your message. Many reactors say the same thing: have integrity, decency, when commenting. But I can honestly say, it feels like that's "your brand". It feels like you're more effective in your laid back honest way, and I deeply appreciate it, you. I also deeply appreciate Erik, and I won't lie, he is what brought me to your channel. And I'm so glad for it! Looking forward to exploring more music with you, happy that it is a supportive space. (Yes, OK, "supportive" and "hard rock/metal" aren't always common bed fellows. But maybe that all changed way back with Disturbed's Sound of Silence). I fear that I might have for years denied myself the ability to appreciate and enjoy "harder" music than when growing up in the 70s, playing cello in my elementary school orchestra, I felt I could or had a right to enjoy. My world is blown wide open now, and I'm grateful for it. Only being in my 60s as I am. Sorry if I babbled on. Something I'm often accused of but can't yet seem to rein in.

I really like Eric's vocals, of course, and the atmosphere of this song. Especially when I'm in "why on earth did I do those stupid things back in the days" mode 😅 But it's turning pain into beauty. This video was shot in the small old railway station in Erik's hometown Knivsta, not very far from Stockholm, Sweden. (I'm from there, too. That station is deeply ingrained in my soul after spending way too many, way too early mornings there on my way to senior high school. A very different video from Dan and you can see that he can be silly and doesn't take himself too seriously. I think it was a family vacation at the beach and he was bored, so he and his brother filmed this. Yeah, he's a big Star Trek fan and a retro gaming nerd. Great video and the vocals were perfect as always. One suggestion: I Have A Right”, a Sonata Arctica cover with David Olivares. Because it's not on Dan's channel (it's on David's channel) it tends to get overlooked. It's one of my all-time favorite songs, even though it's 9 years old. Thanks for your continued support for Dan.

Oh holy night -got me - -and now I have even bought Eriks book "power" - about his troubled life - I haven't read it - but have started - in swedish - I am from Denmark. I can recommend it - what I HAVE read so far. His music is incredible - love it.
