I chickened out to be completely frank, but after riding hulk and rip ride rockit and loving them, and hearing all of the amazing feedback about this ride? I’ll probably do it next time. I have a pass for UO now so it’ll just take going with the right friend to keep the peer pressure on😂

I’ve experienced similar: I’m 14 (was 13 at the time) and I REALLY wanted to ride this ride called Stealth at my local park, it has the fastest launch still operating in the world and the 3rd fastest ever made. I wanted to ride it for WEEKS but chickened out in the queue twice when I saw it 😢 But I rode my first roller coaster that day so it was a bit ambitious! Hopefully I gather the courage and get another opportunity soon.

@@deadaccount2048 Ah Stealth at Thorpe Park. I first saw it in person when it opened in 2006, I was about the same age as you back then. Sit in the first few carriages and it feels awesome. The speed is what will get you, not the height :D Hyperia is what will get you when it comes to height ;) I've ridden stealth front row and back row, if you can, try and get the front row it'll be the least intense.

definitely not, I've been on both and VC is the all-around most intense roller coaster except for Iron Gwazi, el toro, and skyrush.

I was wondering if this was similar to maverick. That coaster at ceder point is insane. Velocicoaster was broken down our entire trip in Feb 😢 so we didn’t get to ride.

@@Yeetapple nope, velocicoaster is way faster and more intense. After the launch the hulk ride feels pretty smooth and tame. But the velocicoaster is just nonstop thrills

If I’m not mistaken they did this for pass holders as like a special thing. Cause I’ve seen multiple vids from the pass holder previews where they did this. Idk if it was for all or upper tier level passes.

Velocicoaster is in islands of adventure.

It was a fan preview held by Universal, they had a go pro mounted in the first seat and they let us take turns riding. They filmed it and sent it to us.

I rode this literally yesterday! Before this, my scariest coaster was Hagrids, to which I've never actually been scared on I had the time of my life on. But THIS I was TERRIFIED, however, once I got on and into the seat, I felt really safe and secure. Now, I will say, I've definitely found out that I have a place for thrill because I had the freaking time of my life on this thing. It throws you out of your seat so much more than what is shown in this video, it is insane! Your comment is in regards to the second launch, to which I can say, it is, if not my favorite, one of my favorite parts of this entire ride. This is coming from someone whose scariest coaster was Hagrids! I can say that this coaster is not for everyone, but I can say even more that everyone should give it a try if they muster up the courage. Because it is truly not a ride, it is an experience! The top hat drop (really tall part after the second launch) does look really intimidating, but it went by so quick and it only made me lose the feeling in my legs for like half a second. I can say that if you enjoy roller coasters in general, not kiddie coasters but decently sized ones, you can definitely handle this beast of a coaster. I was only scared at the start because I was not expecting to be thrown out of my seat literally three seconds into the ride but that's what it did, but then it did it again and I enjoyed it, along with the rest of the coaster, to the fullest. There was kids maybe the age of 10 getting on this thing and none of them cried, they all had the time of their lives. So, in conclusion, I say that you should at least try your best to get a ride on this thing! It's really worth it, and it doesn't get to too long of wait time either which is just another plus! Definitely worth a try once but it is very intense. It was fun though even though I looked scared and in pain 😂. HagRide is still my favorite!
