Hi :) I used KYDA Face blush in the shade #01 Pink, it is both blush and highlight together. You can find it on amazon! I believe they have 2-3 other shades as well

I actually had one touch up with it and then let it fully grow out to my normal texture (not planned). When I cut my hair short again, they cut off all of the straight pieces that were still leftover from the treatment. Now I am just back to using a flat iron to straighten but using less heat than I was before. I do plan on getting the treatment again in the future though. As for hair health, I am getting it trimmed/cut every 8 weeks so it grows very quickly now and feels so much better than it did a year ago :)

This is so relateable, I have had this same experience of how my hair was as a kid, a lack of hair mentor because my mum didn't have the knowledge of my hair type. I have let it go naturally curly since 2019 and it just takes so much effort to maintain, style, look after. I do prefer the way my hair looks when it's not curly... atm I hate the way it looks most of the time, constantly wear it in a bun and just am sick of how much effort it takes to make my curls look good. I just prefer a low effort kind of style with my hair so I am going to get a type of straightening treatment this week.

Multiracial girl here. White/French dad and mixed mom she is Indian,black African,Chinese/Vietnamese mix. Grew up with puffy,thick and wavy altogether hair.Had to get my hair blow-dried and straightened every single days with tons of serum,creams etc couldn't sweat or get my hair wet or anything had to pretty much keep my hair tied and tidy to go to school and kids would've bully me and put water,chewing gum and stuff in my hair to ruin it and say I've got pubes as hair it was awful...grew up ashamed of my hair and annoyed all the time. Did relaxers and treatments from the age of 16 until recently where I discovered Japanese straightening perm. My husband is Japanese so he took me to a Japanese hair salon to get myself a perm and it changed my life forever no more straightener,blow-dry or even stay home whenever it rains or it's humid it stays pin straight and takes only 10 minutes to dry. The BEST decision EVER never going back. Ordered a kit to do it at home as it is too expensive for me to afford ever 5 to 6 months $75 AUD you get a full Shiseido kit. Will give it a try.

The same with any relaxer. It is straight forever. This is why over processing is a big problem with home perms. You will have to grow it out to get your natural texture back
