Sorry, compared to the really big showmans who literally could kick asses: Peart, Bonham, Paice or also the modern ones:Smith,Grohl, Perkins didnt use very advanced techniques, it is just linear drumming, all in all it is a kind of boring

John needs to slow down a touch... That being said, how could anyone pace themselves beside the King. Love this video.

Imagine having the King of what you do in front of you. Jhon Mayer was performing for BB King that night.

All respect to BB King. He is fun to watch. But as a guitarist, I find it far more fun to explore awesome guitar techniques as legato, shredding, country licks, funky blues licks, and other progressive rock speed licks as well.

John Mayer > BB king. BB King seems offended by Mayer because is better than him 😉 Sry BB, he's the king here.

If John kept playing BB licks, what would be the point of having BB there? No wonder BB said he would leave unless Mayer stopped doing it!😊

Both men are considered the greatest guitarist ever. But around 6 min 10 sec, John Mayer stopped goofing off and just shook his head at the legend BB King and watched him play with the rest of us.

Anyone ever notice young guys more often have a relic'd guitar, but the old players whose guitars should be naturally old and beaten up always have pristine looking instruments?

Imagine experiencing Hendrix in 2024 live somewhere in a pub for the first time. I would love to live a memory like that. If this can strike a chord so deep in the veins of someone who was too late for Hendrix but right in time for John Mayer then I can only imagine how Jimi must have felt like.

BB King is my example to anybody that doesn't believe me when I say that feeling goes further than skill. That man's a legend and used the same 5 note box for 98% for his lead throughout his career and it will send chills up your spine
