This is fascinating because this program about a wonderful magical place is sometimes inturupted by this nightmare story about an angry man with an emotionally defeated wife.

16:40 Rage filled dirt farmer who hates his family especially his wife yells 70s stereotypes for 2 straight minutes. 47:20 Rageyman kills a fly and tries to make it funny. Threatens his wife with a weapon. She runs for her life like any person would do. 1:04:00 A man with invisible dogs fails to conclude the story.

I was staying in Singapore for 2 months during 1999 / 2000 (don't exactly remember). This is one of the shows I used to watch as a child - one of the few ones I could watch on cable TV in English. I am surprised that this show is not available on any steaming platforms. All I could remember is the theme song and I miraculously found this. Thank you so much!

0:21 3:23 Great opening start by Glen Cambell, then followed by Julie Andrews the way she rode on that monorail with such elliegance and class, and of course, her singing voice Walt Disney World's opening had the best talents to help bring life and excitement for everyone who got the opportunity to experience and explore at it's opening day Happy Anniversary Walt Disney World

And to think what has become especially over the past 5-10 years…so far from what Walt would have ever allowed.

wish the parks were like this thru millennium celebratiom still. the wasteland they became in the 2010s is spitting in the face of everything walt disney envisioned.

it brings me no joy to say this, since i loved disney up until say 2005..it reminds me of how far disney has drifted from the wholesome family, american values vibe to cater to the sexual deviant, money grubbing corporate culture, that few families can afford or feel their children aren't safe there --really sad..i don't think walt would have approved, since this disney is no more..now there are far better & safer places for families to visit and spend their hard earned vaca dollars

The amount of respect Disney used to have with the brer characters. Nowadays they don't even want to acknowledge the character existence. 😞

WOW I didn't know the monorail was there from the beginning. I went in 1989 and it only travel around to the Magic Kingdom and it didn't go around Epcot like it does now.

Sadly, Disney corporation has priced the parks out of reach for most families. Just another greedy corporation who is goal to fleece its customers at every point.

I'd like to say it folks.I've been to Walt Disney World twice and I live in Southern California.Once you've been to walt disney world you forget that disneyland is even there that shows you how much better while disney world is but I guess you have to appreciate disneyland for being the original

The MIckey Mouse Review! It was wonderful seeing it again! _Song of the South_ characters!! SO good to see them again! (Yes, Splash Mountain is closed as I write this. I like Tiana, but sure do miss Splash.) This was magnifient and the video goes into my "Inspiration" Playlist! My mama worked at WDW for 42 years. We went for free hundreds, if not thousands, of times. Believe me, I know how lucky I was growing up in Orlando. Moved here in 1965. I've watched the whole "World" change from 20 miles away. Love watching this video with everyone!

@@shable1436 Hmmm... what's changed in 48 years? Just about everything, including the leaves on the trees. And there are three more parks since you were here. And a gazillion hotels. You won't recognize the place. Time to visit again! (I have to tell you, I laughed and laughed about your comment... so innocent and SO much fun! Thanks for making me smile a LOT with your comment!)
