As soon as I saw the Cryptons I fell in love. I’m really excited for the next season to be producing some myself! Those snakes are beautiful Paul and great video on the Crypton.

Those are some stunning animals and made me take a closer look at crypton, which is one project that has failed to entice me untill this video, I think what also killed the crypton project for most people was allelic was poorly understood and confused by some breeders putting out wrong information. The whole allelic conversation always gets confused by the recessive/incomplete dominant, dominant dynamic, which makes something that is quite simple a little more confusing. I always try to explain to customers that it makes no difference, every het can double up to produce the true expression of that gene. that includes incomplete dominate (yes they are hets too a pastel is a het for super pastel and so on), recessives and even dominate genes. All allelic means is when 2 different genes occur at the same locality on the chromosome. Just like with cryptic and clown, both genes are different but share the same address! Videos like this one help clear the fog and help the project grow. Whats happening with the green trees brother? Noticed on your last video they are not on the wall anymore?

Hi, so im a hobby breeder and i personally love to guess genes. I am also working with some Cinnamon combos so i really find these combos very interesting. My personal guess on this new gene would be it co-dominant and possibly allelic to cinnamon since the combo has some similaritys to a couple other cinnamon combos ive seen. and its definitly a granite pattern gene

Yess paul! Your really onto something pal! Clown was obviously right move! genes that i think will improve it are leopard and i actually think Enchi too. Both are really dominate genes that will bring more uniformity to the washed out patten with the added bonus of potentially being allelic with enchi too (if it does prove allelic with cinny). When you where showing the drawn out side patten it made me think tri-stripe would lend itself well even outside of clown! Bringing more patten to the side stripes and patten up from the belly. Even the hets might prove interesting and That would really open the project up in a big way. just adding leo and mojave would set the double visual a light then even-more recessives, DG and monarch to explore how it would look with some colour. Its endless more breeders involved the better! Best of luck with it mate the best is yet to come i recon!

The back of the head also looks like a sign of the new gene. The way it interacted with Wookie is wild, it greatly intensified the Wookie fading on the head.
