Damon was very unfriendly to me that night. I’d never met him before. Besides his obvious talent, he left me with impression that he’s a very uptight and angry person. We were booked by the club, SharBaby Newport Bsnd. He was hostile to us. Ah well, Florida Man. What can you do. Not play in Florida I guess.

Actually. You were not booked by the Club. Sugar Shack Mondays were booked by Damon Fowler who would be the house band and have traveling bands be a guest on Mondays. I was the one who suggested that Shar Baby play at a Sugar Shack Monday.
