I can't really hear in the opening riff with the double bass whether or not is 0s or natural harmonics? Maybe Christian is playing one and Joe the other?

I'm really not sure either tbh man. In Nik Nocturnals vid he goes for all harmonics. If they release a proper version it'll be very clear

i tried it a few hours ago by ear and i think it's in drop D actually, D standart sounds quite off to me

I tried it out in drop C a few times, the way they bend a few notes makes it seem like it could be. But then in the video I’m pretty sure they’re in D standard (even if they might be miming)

@@Bienfurionat 00:51 they play all of the strings open, those notes sound correct in D standard. They wouldn’t sound right if the whole guitar was in standard. Also from what I know almost every Gojira song is in either D standard or drop C.
