@@Jack-zs2yd My understanding (from the discussion) is that they’re using the name of a group that USED to exist and whose views they respect. Jewish Australians like Jewish people around the world have a multiplicity of views. Given that just as many Jewish people live in the US as live in Israel and that only 45% of these believe that caring about Israel is essential to what being Jewish means and that a majority of US Jews have negative views about Netanyahu’s policies, we could probably say that there definitely needs to be alternative voices amongst Jewish people globally (including in Australia) regarding all sorts of issues. The Israeli funded Jewish lobby presents only one view.

Thanks for confirming that when the US/CANZUK pro palestinian protesters come up with their shared slogans they really don't know what they mean to the general public, &/or don't care. So apparently everyone now has to spend their time debating about providing protection for this speech, or legislating it out. How about none of the above, and universities look at their selection criteria, and try to find applicants interested in communicating with the broader public outside their alliances, or look at any common programs or association they belong to that are facilitating their issues with communications, and everyone having to pay for policing when it goes awry.
@captainmajed2078Ай бұрын
Nothing you said makes sense. One of the main goals of these groups is to communicate with and form alliances with the broader public and as many other groups as possible. That is why those protesters encompass many groups, whereas pro-genocide protesters include racist zionists and right wing n@z1s who are literally paid by zionist groups.

Another example of too many "communities" in Australia, thus the failure and problem with multiculturalism. Australia becomes a battleground for ethnic rivalry, debate and bickering. Better if Australia was for Australian citizens who identify only as Australians.
