Multiple Grammy Winner Lou Rawls at his best and the audience was captivated. Lou Rawls top 10 of all time story telling, jazz, and blues singer. He had sang these songs thousands of times but made it like it was the first time ever. The power and flexibility of his vocals is in a class of its own. Nobody holds a candle to his rendition of Send in the Clowns. Love the interaction between him and the crowd. It's quite obvious he was truly enjoying their reaction. Lou usually shares stories about the songs, but on that night it was just about the music. Rare gem.

Lou has always been one of my favorite singers ( has a natural unique baritone voice that carried into 4 octaves) My cousin Kenny Elliot played the drums for Lou many years - he's the drummer in this video. 🎤🎤🎤

You are so perfect in your comments, I have only attended a select few concerts in the last 10 years and I was only impressed with three artist: Sade, Justin Timberlake, Anita Baker and these talented musicians are just a specific talent that is unique and the language is Beautiful and I am not embarrassed to repeat the lyrics!
