That is awesome! It wasn’t a stereotype on all older hunters, just that the older hunters that hunt this place don’t move too much. Just their style on that particular piece of ground. I definitely know quite a few older hunters that can still hunt and move circles around younger guys for sure.

I don’t think it even touched him. We found out later that those shells were bad and the resin was holding it all together. If u watch close u can see the whole wad fly right over his back to the right. Was incredible hunt

@@Wookie1122 I’ve slowed it down numerous times on big screen, and the wad flies over his back. I think it’s just leaves being kicked up as he got outta there. We shot and cut those shells open (old longbeard XRs) and that resin had the shot all stuck together and it wouldn’t separate like it was designed to do. Just one of those bad deals.

We didn’t even realize that until we were leaving, we could have hunted the NF that we were scouting that afternoon. But yes we were bouncing back and forth between state ground and NF land.
