never was a fan of Wilson at Fullback over Cullen...Wilson was a great player - but definitely better at wing, Cullen was faster covering the back

Lost this series by having Phil Larder as a defense coach. If these small sample sizes are anything to go by I'm not sure how much the players actually listened to him. Not surprised really

Very sad video. Brought up in pontypool but, like many valley towns, it's such a sad place now.

As a pooler fan I’m biased but I watched him week in week out for his entire pooler career and in my opinion the best all round player i saw during that 80s era .

A wonderful period but not destined to beat new Zealand. In 1972 and 1978 they could have or should have won but as carwyn James said..we failed. So many great players Barry john etc. loved gerald davies. John dawes said he was the first name on the team sheet.

Quesada, MUY lento! Cuantas patadas le taparon? El goleador del Mundial 99, solo por conversiones y penales. Ni un solo try...... Menos mal que como Coach es un Capo!

I find it truly inspiring to see the Irish and British flags displayed side by side, each flown with such pride during these tours. It’s a powerful symbol of unity, reminding us that even amidst our differences, we can stand together with respect and shared purpose. This simple yet profound image fills me with hope, making the world seem like a more harmonious place. It’s vital that this sense of togetherness, embodied by these flags, transcends beyond moments of ceremony and becomes a principle that guides our everyday interactions. In a world often divided, such symbols remind us of the strength found in unity and mutual respect.

The modern era does not allow the professional player to live out his talents. They are trained to play to a pattern and keep to it.

Thanks for uploading this. Found it on VHS when I was at uni many moons ago and loved seeing loads of tries I’d never seen before. Thank god TMO wasn’t around back then! And a shame no tries from the inaugural World Cup weren’t included.

Interesting to see the gestation of England's great sides of 1991 and 1992. Did Nigel Melville have the quickest pass ever in world rugby? Will Carling just starting his international career and waiting for Jerry Guscott to join him!
