Love my FloatLIft. I can't have a dock on the property where I live due to shorline management. But I have a FloatLift anchored just a bit away from my bulkhead. I just hop on my paddleboard and in a minute I am lowering my Boston Whaler into the bay we live on and off and cruising. It is amazing and runs totally on solar power.

No they put Mercury Racing outdrives in them.

I disagree. Depending on the year, Ilmor used their own Indy drive. Previous used used Imco, IIRC.

@@UltraMagaFan Incorrect. They used Ilmor Indy drives, which is a surface drive that was meant to compete with the NXT/#6 combo. However, the engines was installed with an X of 16.5" which hurt performance as the drives ended up sitting very deep. This boat should have been in the upper 70's but topped out at around 72 due to its overly conservative setup. By comparison, there's a 400SS with #7M drives and 850 TCM engines that has clocked 87 mph. This by comparison should easily have cracked 78-79 mph.

@@jayjacaty3009 Ilmor never sold the 725 with the Platinum drives, Indys only - unless you bought it as bobtail. The gen 3 V10's used the TCM Platinum drive which featured an XC lower. Quite sure that's also what they sell for the 570 today but they might have switched to an all IMCO.

@@AB-80X I’m not wrong. You custom order these boats. They put whatever the fuck you want in them. You get a Ilmore, a Mercruiser, a Volvo Penta, literally any out drive you want. Hell, you can even put quintuplet 450 outboards on them.
