1:54:359 after just 12 laps. Very easy to upset on kerbs so quite challenging to be on a controller for this setup. Was surprised with the asymmetrical setup. Will try it out more.

im a sucker for the asymmetrical setups. I'm not sure they're always the most optimal but I enjoy the feeling of getting to fly through the key corners with more stability.

Hmmm is force feedback on? (5:34 is my best) I ask because for me the curbs unsettle the car when I try to go quicker than 5:30. Maybe I should turn mine down. It’s on max 🤔

Been a long time since I used the default launcher (or far for that matter) but I am pretty sure lower than 14c track temp is possible in the base game. I think you have to set the time to either really early or late, and set the weather to either overcast or fog. I think that sets the track temp to 8c. ( hella impressive lap btw)

Hello, I am the record holder of this combo on RSR. My time is not illegal, the lowest temp that RSR allows when doing hotlaps is 10 degrees celsius. I actually have it set at 0 degrees celsius but when I start a hotlap session it automatically changes to 10 degrees celsius so that it adheres to RSR:s rules. My lap clearly conforms to RSR:s set rules and is not in anyway illegal as it is made out to be here. As for Husqus time, it is possible to go under 10 degrees celsius if you play on an online server with random weather I believe. Some might see this as a grey area however since it is so widely used (look at f2004 @ Spa) it is not necessarily illegal, especially since the times under 10 degrees celsius haven't been taken down from RSR while other genuinly illegal laps have been. /William Glassel

I've gathered the following information from Assetto Corsa Content Manager: "RSR is active, and according to its rules you are not allowed to use temperatures lower than 10 °C". My lap is therefore valid and legal, and I would appreciate if you aknowledged this in your video as soon as possible since at the moment it is spreading a misleading image of me as a "cheater", despite my lap conforming to RSR:s rules in every single possible way.

I love these vintage F1 cars, such a blast to driver. I first saw this video almost a year ago and I've been chasing your time ever since. Managed to clip it by a couple of tenths, but it was... a challenge. Nice save at the Karussell, I've lost count of how many times I didn't manage to save it. I agree - 5:09 is definitely possible (given your other RSR times, I'd say even faster). Nice lap.

@@Hansu6 comparing your time with a different car accomplishes nothing but even with the gt3 that time is impossible. Actually the gt3 is slower. Current record with the Evo for highlands long is 3:18.870

Pay close attention to my brake level. I use a lot of brakes at first but I roll off the pedal to avoid locking up. I also adjust brake bias rearwards which helps.

Thanks for the reply. What's your sim rig? I have a G29 and the Logitech pedals are not that great as far as I know. Meaning the braking is not that precise.

@@icarustheseamusic2910 that's correct. I have a stock G27 and I have considered getting a pedal modding kit for quite some time. It makes them load cell rather than potentiometers. Even I have thought about doing a DIY w my Brake pedals, but thought I'll wait until the warranty ends. It's amazing to see your performance in F2004 with G27 pedals. That brings a sort of reassurance that it is possible with my rig too. Thanks a lot!

Yeah that's somewhat ok. I'm pretty sure it would take me about 30 seconds less, but I really can't be bothered to play silly kids games. Nice job for a beginner though. I'm joking of course, takes me actually 40 seconds longer which means that you are better in every turn and would need about eight rounds to lap me. Amazing round!
