I really doubt that they made a new aluminum alloy. I would bet it’s just an existing alloy that they tweaked. I am sure it is hard than the old AL

Looks like Baton 3 Pro have best beam profile for edc. I don't see the point for a narrow beam in everyday use.

I have few olights already and the idea of having a thrower is tempting...but is it really that practical? I think warrior mini 2 has the absolute best balance between throw and flood.....I do however have a dark forrest road next to my house which I want to light up from time to time, so maybe this light is actually one to add.

My Batons are my favorite flashlights and this new Turbo model looks very nice. However, instead of a 1,000 lumen mode that lasts 2-3 mins, I would prefer a 600-700 lumen mode that doesn't step down. They used to do that years ago & it worked well. I guess they're trying to bank on impressive lumen numbers, but it just doesn't last long enough.

Same con as always; 100000000000000000lm for 1 minute… high lm doesn’t impress me nearly as much as longer run time! I’m also a big fan of the warrior series so I don’t need to cycle through to get to half/turbo, do you know if this head works on the Warrior nano or if we might see something to that effect in a later model nano? 😉

Still rocking my Mini Baton Ti with the neutral light, they offered better light temp options back in 2016!? Why Olight?? Most light fanatics do not want a cool white for EDC & would gladly sacrifice a few lumens for a high CRI color temp😒

Is the seeker 4 has the same olight issue like the warrior 3s ? Under 80% battery level you can't use turbo mode.

With that throw and that much candelas, this head would be fitted for the Warrior series, wouldn’t it? A Warrior Nano Turbo with 60,000 candelas would have been a no brainer for me. ❤

I'm just curious. Can't you just restart turbo after stepdown? I mean, it just takes a second to restart turbo mode. Is the brief amount of time to click the switch really going to drastically affect what you're doing that the stepdown is seen as a negative? This flashlight puts out a lot of candelas and (naturally) a lot of heat, the stepdown helps protect the led and circuitry from damage (obviously), but isn't that a good thing?

Looks a great addition to the product range although I’d be keen to see a comparison between the seeker 4 mini, baton 4 mini and maybe javelot mini? It feels like it should maybe be a warrior mini or javelot mini as it’s for range.. I do want one I just would like to see why it exists kinda thing :)

I invested pretty big in the obulb lineup previously. I was even running the old app. Deep packed away in my gear, the old bulbs would always turn on by themselves, so battery was an issue by the time I arrived at camp. And the app obviously only worked with Wi-Fi. I hope the new bulb can run without Wi-Fi on a campsite

This light is fucking ridiculous. I ordered the green already but thinning of adding a black one.

I’m not nice to my tools, and I’m still impressed by the pro. That things been kicking around in my pocket for near on a year and it’s still kicking. The white light did fail for like a day, for seemingly no reason, then it just started working, again for no reason, and still works now. No idea what happened, the UV and laser still worked, but the white didn’t work on either stand alone or in conjunction with the laser. Other than that, it’s a damn useful pocket friendly light.
