I think the Dakota (DC3, UK denomination) in the video is the US military C-47, or close to it. My friends, I flew in this (similar) plane many times in my life (Angola) until the Cubans (1975) stole some of them, from Africa to Cuba by cargo ship, a ghost one?, nobody knows what they did with them. Incredible plane, I still remember seeing the sky from inside, but not using the windows, just that some rivets were missing in the fuselage.

It wasn't WTOV. It was WSTV. Now that is out of the way I remember this as well as Krumm Construction. Maybe it was spelled Crumm but I think it was K. Van's sport shop in Minerva Ohio used to advertise a lot also. Love this stuff.

My uncle (ran a trucking business for 40+ years) told me: Studebaker built the first ‘real’ trucks.

"No one paid extra for chrome..." That's why leather interior was a factory option. As was mohair. Fact...you idiot. These, and the Hudson/Terraplanes, were class trucks.

I lived there as a child. There was a solar eclipse one year. I had a friend whose brother was hit by a car and he had a full body cast. It was fun doing small town things and going to Sugar Creek. Amish were kind and life was easy.

These things are the absolute COOLEST turboprop single. They are a thing of beauty, a piece of aerodynamic sculpture. I read somewhere years ago Bellanca had this shape on it's drawing boards WAY before homebuilts began coming out. I forget what they were going to call it but I swear someone bought the design when Bellanca went under. The main gear tires look too small but beside that, I'd buy this over any other turboprop or VLJ. Almost as fast as most pure light jets but with advantage of the propeller to slow you down and stop you on those 4,000 ft runways.... and the cabin is WAY bigger. I hope they sell a thousand!!!!

Just for anyone wondering: The coupé version only had a different body than the limousine. Engines options 250/300 and 400 were the same but it was a bit more expensive and stylish. The goggomobil in the video appears to have the limousine tail lights put on. The Coupe tail lights connect seamlessly to the chrome strip above. How do i know? I got a coupé myself 😆

I have a cage type suet feeder & tried to put an orange based suet out. I usually put out oranges, but wonder: Do the squirrels, chipmunks, & other birds go for that too? I want to find a place for them to find it...but not have it eaten up by the others. I'm doing research now. (how I found your video) I keep hearing them. I'll probably end up just putting out the oranges. I'm not sure what feeder to give them, and pretty much just them.

Baltic was once the sight where the Ohio Central Railroad Amish Steam Train would stop, the locomotive would decouple and run around the train the opposite direction on the passing track, hook up on the other end and return to Sugarcreek. This service operated Monday through Saturday from 1988 until 1998, then returned Tuesday through Saturday from 2001 until 2003.

I saw a 37 Studebaker truck at a show that had been fully restored. It looked more like a luxury vehicle than a utilitarian vehicle. Couldn't imagine hauling manure or hay in its bed.

Excellent reversing on that popper motor. Not easy to do. I got to run one of those on The Milwaukee Road. Front and top only. Very cold in the winter. I also ran a brand new Fairmont like that yellow one. Onan engine. Loved the big hooks.
