This here in states called a “Gas Station Beer” meaning you can pick this up anywhere, as in your local gas station, convenience store, on sale a lot here, just picked up some for $5.00 a six pack, but spot on review, yes definitely Belgium influenced

Seeing this 4 years late! This Beer has been my favourite for I think around 8 years now, i got lucky to stumble upon buying it on the off chance in Lidl around about 2016. For me it is stunning, the taste and sensation it gives me is hard to explain, i think it is better than Sex!! ;-)

And using the 3 part pour is needed with these, pour a bit in on an angle stand the glass up pour some into the centre til theres a 3rd left, swirl pour again its hazy then.

I agree. Its not great out the bottle/can. Actually Czech beer in general vqm uave a weirdo taste. Diaceatle or something i believe.

I was Bier Hooligan's barman for a couple of years. It was a family-run pub, hosted by my Mum and Dad. They have both sadly passed since. But almost 10 years later, he still keeps in contact. I sent an e-mail to Chimay regarding the barrel aged red. Here is their answer: Good afternoon Thanks for your interest in our Chimay Trappist products. We produced a very limited quantity of Chimay Barrel Aged Red in 2018, and this one was only sold locally in Chimay. We do not have any more bottles on stock and there are no plans to reproduce this item in near future. Best regards Géraldine Simon Sales Coordinator -------

I brewed mainly German pilsners at home for many years (all grain) and finally gave up due to the hastle. This is all I drink now, absolutely fabulous Beer. Echo everything you've said
