Why do bikers have a problem with cars passing them so close when bikers don’t have a problem passing cars or other bikes that close anyway. The lane was already occupied with a car so I don’t have to share it with you. As long as I didn’t touch you get over it.

That cop is a straight up tyrant. Switched from being stopped for making a u turn, to not stopping at a stop sign, to not having his visor down.

Cop is 100% right about keeping your visor down while moving. If you are riding with a full face helmet and the visor is up your face is exposed to anything coming inside and hitting you. I learned the hard way riding home at night I had a tinted visor so I would ride with it open and wear clear safety glasses underneath. Some guy in a Kia Souless pulled out in front of me riding my Honda ST1300 and I had very little time to react. Thankfully the ABS slowed me down significantly and the impact was reduced but it was enough to launch me forward and my motorcycle's windscreen went in my open visor and smacked me right between the eyes. The safety glasses probably helped a little but I suffered a large Hematoma and two black eyes. If that visor was closed the windscreen would have just slid past and I would have had no injuries. Something as simple as a stick could impale your face with that visor open or stinging insects could get lodged inside your helmet. We learn from experience and I thought I would share because I see a ton of videos with guys riding with open visors.

A friends brother always had a pocket full of one inch ball bearings to catch peoples attention. They were putting in a new freeway by us. Police chased some dirt bikers at the construction site. They drove down into the excavation. their dispatch got a radio call that their squad car was sinking. There were no lakes in the city. The police had driven onto ice in the excavation and sank the car. This happened in Warren Michigan and made the national news.
