@_padfoot I couldn't respond in your response to me for some reason but..All good points 💯. UT had a hiccup night overall. Yes about Grace. I'm sensing UT (and a few other teams) might be "playing around" with lineups early on in the season in order to get their best lineups to get them to Four On The Floor final. Imo getting the best lineups can be difficult especially when teams have great depth.

this gets a Like out of me for the simple fact that they comentate, you can get the names, and look at how they critic that skills. so many vids I have noticed at least this year is done without any commentary. threy are almost scilent films. like no one was talking? why? I have seen HS meets and demo's with even a couple of kids doing that. It sems like a slap in the face of these athletes that worked their asses off to get to this point and juat get covereved as lazy as that looks.

Please cover the buttocks of these gymnasts! This does not set a good example for younger gymnast! It’s gymnastics not how tramp your butt looks while competing in front of millions! This imo is a bad example!,

These announcers commentators are extremely dull and boring they lack any enthusiasm and have no pep whatsoever. I couldn’t even watch the entire meet bc of these gals and how dull they were!

I know this is a small thing, but I appreciate that their leotards are not super high cut cheeky style like they are at some other schools. As a former gymnast, these seem much more comfortable.

@@23gymbuff potentially! Utah is looking a bit weak on floor right now. Am I seeing it right that Grace McCallum is the only gymnast in the lineup with any double flips at all? I like that Avery is making her brand by including more difficulty than necessary but obviously that isn't gonna pay off if you aren't perfect. Gilstrap's routine is a bit of a headscratcher, I wonder if she even had a 10.0 SV? If I were judging I'd have downgraded her tour jete 1/2 attempt (which maybe she was based on the 9.7). Front layout punch barani also doesn't look up to level, especially after Neff's twisting combo pass. But anyway, yeah, this team is interesting to me in that it looks almost like a Chinese strength team with excellent bars, debatably the #1 beam lineup in the NCAA, but relatively weak floor and vault. Of course, it's early as it can be.

Wouldn't it be great if the female announcer took the lead on female sports? What do we need the man for? We have tons of articulate women who could do this announcing with no assistance from the men. Let men announce male sports.

Indeed. This guy says a lot about unimportant things. Where are the former gymnasts who majored in communication? I'm sure there are so many talented and willing female announcers out there who should be commenting on their sport!

Such a great era in gymnastics. Very sad to see what this once very beautiful has become. While i can appreciate what current gymnast do , its basically become power tumbling. I dont even watch anymore. FIG has surely ruined artistic gymnastics. Shushonova is my favorite ❤❤❤❤❤
