hi, how does the arp syncs with the antonus ? The power of the Antonus oscillator in the intro at 55 seconds is beautifull ... how does it then do at the same time the sort of hi hat and bass drum ? The power of the Antonus surpassses most synths ...
@wutiersonАй бұрын
Hi! The ISE NIN is sending their Arpegiator MIDI clock to the Antonus Step Brother (on top of the 2600) So the Step Brother is in sync with the ISE NIN and then Step Brother is commanding, sequence and percusions The Bass drum is done with the Step Brother oscillator, ADSR and VCA, the hi hat is done at the 2600 with rest of sounds.

Undoubtedly the best lineup together with Froese Franke Schmoelling. The music is great and way ahead of that time. I'm happy that TD are going Back To The Roots again today. But of course that is not comparable to the beginning of the 70s. Nevertheless, I think that Quäschning and Co. make very good music today. Of course that's not a big deal. The times are over.

Very mipressive how you managed to squeeze all sounds out of a single 101 ... If you still remember the patch, could you please elaborate on the patch? Were the red cables connected to the rear of the Antonus and what role did the Antonus synthvoice play?. Many thanks!
@wutierson2 ай бұрын
Many thanks for you nice feedback :) All the animation is done with the Step Brother, the sequence is modulated with the Step Brother ADSR that makes the pitch modulation to simulate a bass drum. The ADSR is triggered with the clock divider. Also another clock division is going to the note pulse width modulation. And other clock division is controlling the ratchet effect. The ratched is done using the falling ramp out of the Step Brother oscillator in low frequency mode, entering the vca, so one clock division is controling the ramp signal like a switch mode and this signal is controlling the 101 filter, making a kind of VCF ratchet every clock division . And the noise patch is using the noise output going to the second VCA of the Step Brother and is controlled with another clock division making a kind of snare feeling. With that I create the multitimbral feeling, with the sequence, the bass drum and noise/snare sound animated with the filter ratchet and the note pulse modulation.
