Wow, great stuff. I have done this trip a few times over the past 12 months, following Little Blind Creek from Centenary then Toolern Creek the rest of the way, it is so different now, the trees have grown and the new estates that have been built. The vids I have taken are just short clips linked together. Just bought a new bike and now I must do a time lapse at some time.

@@fattim3818 Here it is, the video starts about half way between the freeway and the railway line. I first visit Toolern Park (I think thats its name), one of the places that was probably being built 5 years ago, then it is back to the path and on to StrathTulloh Estate. I'm only a few months short of 80 and on my last legs, so was the bike, I was struggling at times. I lived one street over from where your video started (Eaton St). Moved there in 1985. I'm amazed to see the changes once you crossed Bridge Road and turned left into the new estate. Second railway bridge was just starting when we left. A lot of the asphalt track has now been replaced with concrete. Incredible how some things have changed so much, and some not at all. Well done, thank you for that.

The velodrome is at Maryborough in central Victoria. You'd be surprised about fitting in, I'm 183 cm and about 115 kg. Getting in and out is an art, but you figure that out eventually. Daily ride depends on my mood, where I'm going and especially the weather. The RV is good on really cold days, and surprisingly good on hot days as long as you are moving. Great at keeping the sun off you, as most of my others are like laying down sunbathing.

I always wondered why the back wheel was offset, making it look built wrong. They also didn't compensate for the rear guard not being lined up on the offset wheel, making it necessary to bend the guard braces to cover the tyre fully. Recently riding down wallaroo jetty I realised the wheel is offset to compensate for road camber to steer straight- no hands on USA roads. Wallaroo jetty has built in camber on the concrete part. And I remember reading the magnum was designed for the US market.

Hi Peter, it's a difficult thing to decide. I couldn't, so got both. The weather protection in the RV is great, but hills are terrible, the GT will climb better, but not as fast coming down. Hi Rottingboards. The frame doesn't lock in place when folded. To pick it up, it's easiest to come in from the front right (crank side) towards the boom as close as you can, then lift by the boom and crossmember. It's balanced better this way. You can use the locking brakes levers to stop the wheels rotating when it's in your vehicle.

I can not wear a helmet on my Rotovelo. it literally kills my neck being bent forward. I got a ventisit neck pad on back that is comfy as long as I do not have the dam back of helmet hitting it. One thing that made a major comfort in my Rotovelo was using a ventisit pad on top of the rubber cheap thin rubber seat cushion. Then using an office chair cushion the thick kind under my but and then a lumbar support pillow small roll shape for my lover back then a office chair back cushion, The kind that straps to back of chairs I use that behind my upper back shoulder area. It is like having suspension. It is an enormous difference. I also use 20x1.75 Marathon plus all around at about 60 psi. All these things make for a 40 percent smoother more comfortable ride.
