Young punks such as millennials and Gen-Z age group would not appreciate old countryside stores either.

It is a very cool store. They have multiple Mast stores, but I had to see the original. The other stores were old stores (department, hardware) that have been renovated.

Hey Kevin, that is a great store. I wish the old store/post office was still there where my family was from.

@@KevinFryAdventures Hey Kevin, part of my family is from Constitution, OH on the Ohio River just south of Marietta. It was called Constitution because Ephraim Cutler lived there and he helped write the Ohio Constitution. His father Manasseh Cutler wrote some of the US Constitution and convinced US Congress to do the Northwest Territory and he started the Ohio Company to come down the river to settle Marietta. The old store and post office would have been significant to save, but all buildings are gone except an old church building that someone is living in. The building in the center of Oho University is called Cutler Hall after them.

Congrats on another great video and finally making it out to this incredible store. I visited for the first time on a trip to the nearby land of oz back in 2022 then again in fall of 2023. I do have footage of all the mast general stores in North Carolina. Great video my friend.

@@KevinFryAdventures your welcome. Was good to hear from you. Yeah I don’t believe I ever posted my mast general store videos. I did manage to score a large wooden barrel that says mast general store stamped into it.
