Everyone telling you to slow down. Watch the Japanese elite anglers fish that bait. Once it's on the bottom they jerk it like a jerkbait. It walks the dog underwater and that tail goes crazy.

i think me n my kid saw you out there. i fish the same place pass the bridge for a couple hrs. we did ok catch a few spot nothing big but the best one is around 2lbs. it was a nice n cold morning. keep it up

@ I use the Fg knot too. Maybe add more wraps and tighten the 2 half hitches on the tag end tighter?

Its insane what u can do with it, i went from averaging like 5-10 a day at a really rough lake just runnin the bank to averaging 30-50 out on that same lake with 75-80 being my best day. I was out in 45 foot of water with the fish setting up 5ft under the surface or less just blasted them all day long with a top water it was so fun. Have fun learning it!
