Yes that is correct. Unfortunately, I wasn't collecting at the time and it completely passed me by. Back then, models were available at reasonable prices, including those from the 21st century.

Owned the original '70's issued set as a kid along with the same set in 1/72nd scale. Certainly my favourite set of Airfix figures. Interested into the 101st and 82nd ever since and "Band of Brothers" one of my favourite all time shows.

That's all pretty fantastic work and I respect that it has taken a long time to put all this together especially painting everything included in this set up. The camera work is ok a little shaky to quick. I'm wandering which type of figures are they? What brand. I'm in Australia I doubt I'd be able to find any of those which ever they are. There's a limited supply here. Seems not many people are interested in the good toy plastic soldiers here. Now they are mostly model figures and smaller 1/35 scale. Barely anything slightly larger. Great set and work of this scene overall.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️

@@toysoldier68 Hi from George. Sorry for late reply but that is amazing. In 1974 and beyond I had lots of mixed Airfixtoy soldiers some reproductions of Airfix and some other brands, Matchbox, was the second choice if I couldn't get a hold of Airfix. That was and is still the best. Others were Atlantic,Timpo and many made in Hong Kong. I had a table i'd set up the soldiers and use cardboard boxes of different sizes as buildings. Kind of reminds me of those days. Excellent set up.👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️

Looks like these beat the Airfix versions. It's great each figure is unique. No doubles repeated over and over. Very nicely detailed. 👍🇭🇲🦘🐨✌️
