Sååå fed en bil! Er din med performance pakken med spærredifferentiale? Jeg er lidt på udkig på brugt-markedet efter en i20N og er usikker på hvor højt jeg skal prioritere om bilen har det eller ej. Har du erfaring både med og uden, og kan give din mening om hvor "nødvendigt" det er, når man ikke har planer om som sådan at køre på bane med den? På forhånd tak!

Hyundai should sort out that "axle trump" on launch. I have owned all the Opel Corsa and Astra hot hatches and Astra Coupe , and none of them had that problem. The first car I drove that also had axle trump problems was the Golf 4 Gti with the 1.8 T 20v . It was on a drag strip and I pulled of to the side because I though an engine mounting broke.

Driver started i20N with "lauch control" option (yes, i20N have launch control, corsa for i know not) - its have to much power to FWD, so "whell hop" is very possible...

@gvr6079 And that is part of the axle tramp problem the engine and gearbox and lower control arm mount's aren't stiff enough . That and the spring rate in the rear is too soft . These are all key components of limiting axle tramp on fwd vehicles but manufacturers make car's to be nice to drive every day , not a straight out track car .

@@davidgriggs3967 In 1995 i owned a Opel Kadett 200TS ( SA only model with Vauxhall Calibra Turbo 4x4 power train and gearbox ) but only FWD with LSD. It made 190Kw and the suspension was definately not in the spine breaking class of todays hatches. Never experienced wheel hopping.

Against modded cars 🥳 When they bring tunes the i20n is going to fly. And for plonker moaning about rev hang, it’s only a problem when you aren’t driving fast enough 😉😂

I have a question.. I have an I20N but it doesn't make these sort of crackles on decel.. is the valve control module telling the engine to dump fuel into the exhaust ? I don't understand how changing the valve control causes crackles on decel ..

With the valve control the exhaust valve stays open during decel. Otherwise the valve closes on decel

The coolant temp does go down that fast when you give it some gas. Modern engines run hotter in normal conditions, around 100 degrees. But when you drive it harder it is better having the coolant a bit colder to begin with

I'm thinking about getting a valve control as I don't want to delete the GPF and the GPF exhaust systems I've heard don't really seem to sound much better to me. Do you think the valve control is a worthwhile mod? Is the increase in noise noticeable? Also, do you notice much difference in intake noise with the panel filter? Thanks.

Hey, I got a quick question about the i20N. Have you got the i20N Performance with Keyless Go? If yes: Can you open the trunk if the car is closed? So that the keyless go opens it? Or is the keyless go just for the little spots on the front door?
