Hi Rose, I use the Liquitex satin varnish diluted about 50-50 with water, a well washed white cotton t- shirt piece and wipe it on going one way, let dry and go the opposite way, usually several coats. This works if the coats are very thin and I've many pieces to do, I lay them out and do a layer on each, then turn them 90 degrees and do another coat. Thin coats dry quickly. Hope that helps because I've also had yellowed varnish from spray cans.

How did you make your paint area? Is that a tub or plastic bin? What is propping up your letters? Where did you get those pieces? Thanks

The letters are on 2 wooden pieces of wood slats over a plastic bin that catches paint. Wood was just scrap that I had and bin is from Walmart. Thanks for watching 😊
