Had ghosting and overheating (fault) issues with a new fuser. This vid inspired me to carefully inspect the new fuser assy. The thermistor was installed incorrectly at the manufacturer, too far from the heater roller (wasn't touching). I removed, reinstalled and ops ck'd it good. No more overheating and ghosting (double printing) issues! Thanks for the video.

I used a cheap sponge paint brush, instead of a cloth, because my hand couldn't reach the rollers and it worked.

Those belts are so fragile, I had no idea. I bought HP 254nw laser printer to last, and in just 3 years of light use, the transfer belt developed small bumps that leave white marks on the colorful prints. It could be some kind of dust got in when we moved stuff around. I can see the bumps with a flashlight. However, the entire assembly unit costs almost 200 EUR, which is the price of a new printer. So, I could try to replace the belt alone, which can be bought for 50 EUR, but I've no idea how complex it would be to replace it. Somehow I cannot find any video for replacing the belt alone.

Great info, problem solved on ML-1675. Removed the sticky part on the coil itself and replaced it with some thick tape. Removed the side panels, rear metal plate, loosened some screws in the gear part and i had just enough room to take out the solenoid. Fixed in 20 minutes. Thnx!

And when it cause bottom cut, it changes position everytime. Sometimes cut from 3 inches in the bottom sometimes more and sometimes less. Not a fix position. PS paper setting, size setting etc everything is set.

Hi again I think i fkund the problem with my SX535WD Epson printer as there is a 5.5 0.33F capacitor on the main board reading 3.9v and i think that when i turn it on the super capacitor is dropping way too low so it cant boot up the motherboard properly

Thank you very much. It helped me clear my paper jam. It enabled me to remove stuck pieces of paper from the two small transport rollers. And finally I found the probable cause: a piece of paper stuck in the fuser roller. Which by the way would have been accessible from the top by lifting the lid and then the cover of the fuser roller.

Ciao, ho di recente acquistato una Epson XP 245 spedita funzionante ma arrivata con problemi inceppamento carta, lampeggia continuamente la spia e non mi permette di fare altro. Non c'è nessuna carta inceppata nel meccanismo, secondo me ha preso una bella botta durante il trasporto e si è rotto qualcosa all interno che simula presenza di carta inceppata. NOn so come risolvere. In compenso in garage ho una Epson XP 235 apparentemente idnetica che non stampa piu e secondo me ha la testina di stampa danneggiata e non sempicemente sporca o intasata. A tuo avviso è fattibile smontarle entrambe e mettere la testina di stampa che nella 245 funziona, sulla 235 che la ha non funzionante? Come si smonta questa testina, è una operazione troppo complessa?
