I wonder what it felt like the moment they realized that Adam Driver would completely commit to absolutely any role he was given, never crack even slightly, and was more than willing to make time to come do appearances as often as he could because he really does seem like he wanted to do this instead of the movies thing. Like holding lightning, I imagine.

Sometimes I think the entire Stefan character came from the idea "how much can we make Bill Hader crack and break character laughing, and still keep a sketch going," and they invented The Teepee For Your Secrets to give him as much room to giggle silently as possible, and then they went on to come up with a character who plausibly has that gesture as something he does.

Snl is so unfunny that even in cherry picked compilations there is about 2 clips total that manage to make me smile. Such a lame show. The fact that they fired norm tells me everything I need to know about their “comedy” standards. Certified clapter moment.

@@ajayredonkulus6628 Nope. He was the last consistently funny thing on that show and it has been getting significantly worse every year since then. Just look at the fanbase. Used to be people from all walks of life. Now the only people I meet who like this show are 50 y/o facebook moms with lead poisoning. Same crowd that still finds talk shows tolerable. It is unfunny, and we miss Norm.
