David was such a talented singer-songwriter-musician and an all 'round good and decent human. Intelligent, witty, humorous and talented. The world is dimmer without him. Missed, Respected and Loved beyond this life. Proud to call him "friend". Miss you, Mr. V. xxx

What a voice. So many miles on those cordes. It makes the music hit so much harder knowing what he's been through.

For those asking, this is the only full recording I have. I have some smaller clips, but I didn't want to be that person holding up a device, specially during such an intimate setting. It was definitely something else.

Thank you for this. I have been a fan of his since “Nearly Lost You” was released on the Singles soundtrack. His music grew with me over the last 30 years. This song though has always been my personal favorite. Makes me happy and sad all at once. I always wanted to hear a live version. It’s alm I could of hoped for

This is absolutely amazing. So beautiful it stopped me in my tracks when he started singing it. Love you Mark Lanegan. And you were amazing too. I am grateful that I found you and Shelley both.
