Love your Honest Abe and His eye is on the sparrow patterns. Beautiful stitching. I am like you as far as when a pattern is popular I stay away from it for a couple of years. As I watch floss tubes I am amazed at how much money is being invested in cross stitch. While most projects remain unfinished, with intentions of finishing them one day. Just an observation no judgement I am including myself with that! Loved your projects!

Im a traditionalist…I like a reproduction to be as the little girl stitched it with my details on the piece in the margin and on the back if framed. I do not like weird people either…naked nor dressed…when this became apparent I destashed all the samplers with people in my cupboard…..you are not strange! Or if you are I am too! I find myelf stitching lots of flowers animals and alphabets…there are plenty to choose from!

Hi. Nice WIP parade. Just a quick note: if you have a page or a square finish in the pattern keeper, you can press hold it in that page or square (without any symbol selected) and it will give you an option to mark all the symbols in that area. So you will not have to do all the colours stitched bit by bit for that long. Hope that helps.

I don’t like naked people on my stitching which will be on my wall because I have my grandchildren over and I don’t want to be the one to explain. So I either gravitate away from anything with Adam and Eve or just not stitch them. My husband has a hard time with reproduction samplers because he doesn’t want to have a strangers name on our wall. So if I really love a reproduction sampler I change out the name to a family member. It’s our work even though we are copying a little girls sampler.

So nice to see your update! That full coverage is fabulous! I have just started one but I think I already regret my choice of fabric! I enjoyed seeing the wide variety of projects you are working on. Happy Birthday!

I'd switch it out, I can't stitch Adam & Eve either. Add a mirror image of a couple animals in the piece & use different floss colors.

For some reason, your videos haven't been showing up on my feed, so I'm catching up. Loved seeing your WIPS. I have a number of the patterns you're working on, and I think I'm going to have to start some soon (Olga's Stocking, and Crocette a Gogo Winter are must starts!) LOVE, LOVE your natural hair! I have (what I call) a 'fountain of grey' in a similar location that you do, and I purposely part my hair there so it looks like I have chunky grey highlights on both sides. Highlights that I don't pay money for, lol. Great visit! I'll be binging your videos this weekend while I stitch. Happy Stitching! Lynn
