I want a law to be created and passed that explicitly states and rules that if a youngster used to disrupt classes but no longer does so, that even if he/she has all regular mainstream subject classes and a regular mainstream homeroom class, that it is illegal for the youngster’s regular mainstream homeroom teacher to refuse to give permission for him/her to go on a regular mainstream school club trip and that it is illegal for the youngster’s regular mainstream homeroom teacher to tell him/her to get the permission from a special education teacher. This is no way to reward a youngster for behaving him/herself and it causes the youngster irreversible psychological damage. Furthermore, whoever the youngster is made it clear that he/she turned over a new leaf, that he/she wants to be in the regular mainstream only, that he/she does not want anything to do with special education or any other stigmas whatsoever, and that he/she wants to be treated exactly like everybody else! This is not too much for the youngster to ask for! Please reply.

Hi, I watched your video on assessment and it was fantastic. I have looked to try and get in contact with you but I cannot find an email address. I have a job interview on Monday and would really like to ask you the following.....what programme would you use to record and monitor learners progress across a Department when they are being taught remotely? How would you record learners progression in a way to deliver it to those that come in to review the departments progress....in the UK we call it Estyn? Would you use excell spreadsheets ir is there a more interesting and effective way? Thanks. Carrie.

Sean--one helluva of an outline. I am pursuing a PhD in Education with twin foci in linguistics disorders and ELL, and you provide the viewer with a more-than-adequate outline of the historical vicissitudes of this field, which can often seem to the neophyte teacher as a historico-legal morass of data. Good job.

I have a quick question regarding the 13 disability categories. I wrote Learning Disability thinking it had its own category but I didn't see it on your list. Is it listed under another category? Thanks and this is a great video for refreshing what I learned in college!
