i don't know if you'll see this but i'm applying soon, but was wondering about your proficiency in the korean language. is it hard to take the classes, and is there a large variety of classes taught in english?

jake - hey mate! At the time of this video my Korean was quite basic. There are plenty of classes in Korean depending on your major. I study Architecture & Construction Management so it was a bit hard for me to find subjects but for business students etc it’s no problem

Hey,great vid!!Im a dumb 15 yr old.....can I still join snu if my grades aren't very good and I'm also from Pakistan currently studying in Indian School Salalah.Is it easier for introverts there and also for girls who wear hijab.....is it easier for muslims.....like how is the food??Do Koreans respect ppl who wear hijab cuz I'll have to live with a Korean and I also don't know Korean......can I learn Korean and do my studies at the same time?I really wanna learn either multimedia or finearts in SNU.....I'll appreciate it if u reply to all my questions and help me out:) Sorry for too many questions...

Thanks Dawit - Glad you enjoyed it! In the newer building, there is only one kitchen on each floor (each floor has aprox. 20-30 rooms). It's pretty basic, with only a sink, electric hotplate, and microwave. In 919 (One of the older buildings) there is a large kitchen downstairs which in my opinion is way better!

There are actually single rooms on campus just depends on the building you live in. Gwanak-sa dorm has 545 single occupancy rooms.

Hey Verito! For the Semester it was 770,000 krw + 100,000 deposit. I’m not sure what the exact price for the older dorms are but from memory they were 150-200,000 cheaper.
