Question, how long was the rifle in the cold weather before you shot it?

About 24 hours. Never have hade a malfunction with this gun. After a few clips it gets nice and warm.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve found the CMP clips to be hit and miss. Some give me 7th round jams regardless of rifle. I toss those and the problem disappears
