sure you can. You will need to install DB and go through all the config. If you use the VM, everything is configured for you. You can start using right away.

You can download files using REST APIs. You cannot use a Groovy Business Rule and expect to download the file to your local system.

@@atarunraj Yes, I have tried to provide the file name by using string type RTP, but in that case each time user needs to upload the revised file (in case of any changes in file) in inbox or in pipeline before running groovy so file can be picked up from there, but is there any way by which we can enable user to upload revised file directly via groovy, so user can directly upload the revised file from his local system while running groovy rule itself instead of uploading it in pipeline or inbox and then again running groovy for further file operations?

@divyadarji5152 Groovy doesnt have a function to upload file from the local system. The new REST API to copy file from SFTP Server to EPM could be useful. Provided the user can upload file to the SFTP server.

You can invoke a pipeline from Groovy. The pipeline itself can have business rules in it. Let me know if that answers the question

What does the log file say??

@@atarunraj It says: "Error executing pipeline" The pipeline contains only one stage that runs a very simple BR which runs smoothly without any issues when I run the pipeline manually. But when I ran the groovy rule that invokes the pipeline, it ran into an endless process, and I had to stop it by changing the status to "Failed" manually. Thanks, Tami

Data Fusing seem to be extremely slow. I have tried SQL connect and CloudMiner. Both are paid products, but helpful.

SQL connect is good. Data Fusing is too slow. I would rather use my own Jupyter Notebook than use Data Fusing.

There are EPM automate commands and REST APIs available to download the files into your local systems.

I believe we can. Sometimes it doesn't save properly. You may have to try a few times.

Not natively. If you have an integration layer like OIC, you can create a process in OIC to download and move the file to network folder. This process can be initiated from EPM. You do have the option to move file to Object Storage in EPM.
