You shouldn't be recording on these rides. A ride like this that goes high up, anything that comes loose that falls several feet down will use enough force that if someone gets hit by it, it could be lethal. There was a video that went viral where a woman and her boyfriend were capturing their on-ride experience on a similar ride called the Orlando StarFlyer, only to lose grip of her phone to where it fell several feet down, but thankfully didn't hit anyone - which pressured the amusement park and that ride to strengthen rules about loose items, including cameras and phones.
@Mina_Fox_908 ай бұрын
Fun ride, but again you're not supposed to be taking your camera of ANY kind on the rides. The ride attendants in some of your other videos have been telling you and reminding you that they have signs posted outside the rides, and that it's for everyone's safety. Even this ride is so fast that the GoPro can fly off your body.
@Mina_Fox_908 ай бұрын
Now this is obvious that the ride attendants clearly told you that you may not record on rides. Even hiding the camera just because of a surveillance camera can’t stop them from finding out you’re sneaking a camera on these rides. They could have actually stopped the ride at the lift hill and come to confiscate your camera until the end of the ride to get it back and be issued a warning. If you believe sneaking cameras on rides is what you take pride doing, then going to these amusement parks are not for you. Whatever the rules say, they mean it. And it’s based upon state and federal laws regarding amusement ride safety.
@Mina_Fox_908 ай бұрын
Their rules say that GoPros are prohibited on these rides, not just handheld ones like phones and regular cameras that can easily slip out of your hands. They also don’t permit recording sunglasses like PivotHead and Google Glass as they too count as loose items. If the ride attendant at the end of the video told you they’re not allowed, why post this stuff anyways instead of deleting it? They can find out and press charges against you for trespassing. The staff at the beginning before dispatching the boat you guys were riding in should have told you and asked you to put your GoPro away or leave if you don’t wish to comply.

No one cares and the fact you have posted this on every single video shows you have no life
@Mina_Fox_903 ай бұрын
@@punchout1245 I DO have a life. I have read signs and take it very seriously. Look at how many people have been hit by people's phones and other recording devices that count as loose items. Also, these amusement parks have the exclusive authority to expel guests from these parks if they break the rules and impose a "No Trespassing" order on people like him if they have to, and this is why they have security at these places of amusement to rightfully dismiss people from the premises if they're found to break the rules or even worse the law. Plus it says in Worlds of Fun's FAQs that taking photos or videos on rides is strictly prohibited and that Missouri's state law for amusement ride safety, a.k.a. RSMO 316.230 went into effect since January 1, 2005. Here is what Worlds of Fun states loud and clear about taking photos or videos while on rides: "For safety reasons, we cannot permit the taking of pictures, videotaping, or filming of any kind on any ride except the Worlds of Fun Railroad. This includes the use of GoPro style equipment, mounts, and harnesses. All cameras and cell phones must be safely secured in cargo pockets, a waist pack, a bin on the ride platform, left in a locker, or with a non-rider. Ride attendants cannot be responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged while riding or sliding. "Selfie Sticks" are not permitted on any ride." www.worldsoffun.com/frequently-asked-questions And here is what is says in RSMO 316.230: revisor.mo.gov/main/OneSection.aspx?section=316.230 And it seems this guy after being caught doing POVs on some rides he decided to post anyways, he was banned for the remainder of the 2013 season. And then after a few videos taken during his visits during the 2015 season on opening day, they later found out and decided to ban him for life. This guy broke Missouri state law to take photos or videos while on rides and it's obvious he did not obtain permission to capture his on-ride experiences. Also, he has a video on the Prowler and the ride attendant at the beginning tells him he's not supposed to record and then apologizes if her warnings are a personal attack to him. But despite the warnings, he proceeded to continue recording and barely hid his camera at the lift hill hoping the surveillance camera wouldn't catch him in the act. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2HHhXSsbsRlmc0si=PQGTSP4_3WSXY347 They do have signs reminding guests that handheld or loose items including phones, cameras, and other electronic devices are not permitted while riding, and they state: "Hand-held or loose articles, including cell phones are not permitted while riding. Items must be secured in a storage bin, cargo pocket, or left with a non-rider. Failure to follow these rules may result in ejection from the park." Whatever is stated on signs outside these rides, they mean business! There is another KZbinr who admits he lost respect for Worlds of Fun and its sister parks and can't even try to get proper authorization from them to legally do on-ride POVs.

Taking your camera on these rides is strictly prohibited. It says on their signs right outside their rides that you may not use your camera or phone on any of these rides. They can throw you out of the park if you're caught doing it.

This was certainly about the last remaining rotor-style ride in America before it was time to axe it after the 2017 season. A similar one called the Silly Silo at Adventureland in Iowa was removed after the 2013 Season and replaced by the Storm Chaser. Many of these were being removed in recent decades due to safety concerns, and these kinds of rides were the most mainstream back in the 1950s and 1960s. Some sources state while the kids growing up were enjoying them, the adults on the other hand - not as much. And yes, they can drive to high-nausea the more you get dizzy on these. I was just riding the Bamboozler during my recent visit on 6/23, and one girl was putting her feet on the wall like she badly misses this rotor ride, only to be scolded by the ride operator to put her feet back on the floor as required; and because the Bamboozler is a spinning Hrubetz round-up ride that tilts in the middle of the ride and we are to not only keep our feet on the ground, but our hands on the handlebars and backs against the backrests/walls.

Anything posted on these sites, the public can find out, especially if someone is breaking the law. The state of Missouri enacted a ban on loose items being taken on rides since 2005, including the ability to take photos or videos - which one of the ride attendants at the end of the video reminded him and his inability to read the safety guide signs outside these rides regarding photo/video and other loose items. It even says in their FAQs section that wearable cameras are also banned, including the GoPro and smart glasses.
