Soincally speaking each amp has a song where it sits better in the mix. The JCM800 is perfectly fitting the "Lying from you" mix in my opinion, while on "easier to run" the Dual Rectifier gives the chorus a lot of Oomph and power while still being heard in the mix.

could i use the soldano lead overdrive pedal to get a similar sound through a boss katana?
@solacematt2 ай бұрын
You might get a usable sound. You are trying to get a tube sound from a modeling amp and a distortion pedal.

The Tool comparison is fair given that James Iha is a founding member of A Perfect Circle there’s a definite connection there. I picked up on a lot of their tones as well.

James isn't a founding member, he came in after Troy left to join Queens of the Stoneage.

I think it shreds and billy’s guitar work is cleaner and your right sounds different on other platforms. The fuzz is back and lyrics are more relatable

This must have been right before the death of Jonathan, I think I have his name correct (keyboardist) & the dismissal of Jimmy from the band. I saw them play in 96 in NC/Dean Dome, Matt Walker as the drummer. Great show; however, not hearing Jimmy was disappointing. Billy screamed the whole show. It was insane. Pumpkins were peak shape & dominating the music landscape for this very brief time in 96. As they say...those were the days!

Never thought I’d see a discussion of this shirt, but here we are lol. Yeah it came with the Celestials 45. My shirt is long since destroyed, but it’s still cool to have the 45. Pretty sure there’s a different mix of Inkless on the b-side.
